We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your new granddaughter and your family during this time. Firstly, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up this precious new life to You. Lord, we ask that You cradle this little one in Your loving hands and grant her the strength she needs to thrive. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11 over her, 'For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'
"Father, we also lift up the husband and son-in-law, asking that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as per Philippians 4:7. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You, knowing that You are a good Father who works all things together for the good of those who love You, according to Your purpose, as per Romans 8:28.
"Lord, we also pray for the doctors and nurses in the NICU, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom as they care for this precious child. We ask that You would bring healing and wholeness to her little body, and that she would grow strong and healthy under Your watchful eye.
"Finally, Lord, we pray for the entire family, that You would surround them with Your love and support them during this time. We ask that You would knit their hearts together and strengthen their bonds as they walk through this journey together. We ask all this our Lord with the most precious name of Jesus Christ and we ask that if anyone else is unaware of the saving power of Jesus, we pray that you will become aware of it. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that He loves your granddaughter even more than you do. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you, as per Joshua 1:9. We are here with you in spirit, agreeing with you in prayer and believing for the best outcome for your granddaughter and your family.
