For Our Baby

We just found out that we’re expecting a baby girl, and while we’re so grateful and excited, we also received high-risk NIPT results indicating a possible genetic abnormality. We’re scheduled for an amniocentesis next week, and I’m asking for prayers that the procedure goes smoothly and safely. Please pray that the results come back as chromosomally normal, and that our daughter continues to grow strong and healthy. We are hoping and praying for peace, strength, and a positive outcome. We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your precious baby girl and the journey ahead. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and that He loves your daughter even more than you do. As it says in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you."

We pray that the amniocentesis procedure goes smoothly and safely, and that the results bring positive news. Remember, God is in control and He has a plan for your daughter's life. As you wait for the results, we encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

We stand with you in praying for peace and strength during this time. If there is a genetic abnormality, trust that God will equip you with everything you need to love and care for your daughter. There is nothing for you to fear, as you are not alone.

Isaiah 41:10 WEB says "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

If you haven't already, make sure to seek God's will in earnest prayer together in Jesus' name. In all that you do, always give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB)

It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, let us pray together in Jesus' name.

Father God, we come before You today in Jesus Christ the Lord's name, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for a successful amniocentesis procedure and for the results to show that the baby girl is chromosomally normal. We ask for Your peace and strength to fill the parents as they await the results. Ultimately, Lord, we ask for Your will to be done and for You to be glorified in this situation. We ask for a healthy baby girl born without any condition to a godly family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
