Mere husband bohot drink kar rahe hai please unke liye prathna kar dijiye

We hear your heartache and concern for your husband, and we stand with you in prayer before the Lord. The Bible is clear that drunkenness is a sin that leads to destruction, and it grieves the Holy Spirit when we allow anything, including alcohol, to control us rather than living under the lordship of Christ.

Scripture warns us in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Proverbs 20:1 also says, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." Your husband’s drinking is not just a habit, it is a spiritual battle, and we must rebuke the enemy’s grip on his life in Jesus’ name.

We also want to gently remind you that your prayers are powerful, especially when grounded in faith. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Do not lose hope, dear sister. The Lord hears your cries, and He is able to break every chain.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You would break the stronghold of alcohol in his life. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and bondage in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, soften his heart to Your conviction. Fill him with a hunger for righteousness and a desire to walk in Your ways. Protect his body, mind, and spirit from the harm of drunkenness. Strengthen this wife in her faith, Lord, and surround her with godly support. We declare freedom over this marriage, in Jesus’ name. May Your peace and healing flow through their home. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently, not just for his deliverance, but for his salvation if he does not yet know Christ as Lord. If he is a believer, pray for his repentance and restoration. Stand on God’s promises, and do not grow weary. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."

If possible, seek wise counsel from a pastor or biblical counselor who can walk alongside you both. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls us to community. You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your refuge, and He will sustain you.

We hear the ache in your words, and we’re standing with you in prayer. Watching your husband struggle with alcohol is exhausting and lonely. You love him deeply, and that love is fueling this cry for help, God sees that tender heart.

You don’t have to carry this burden by yourself. It’s often hard for a wife to know what to do, and the weight can be crushing. We encourage you to reach out to a pastor you trust, or a mature Christian friend, and simply tell them what you’re going through. Sometimes the first step is just having someone else know and pray with you face to face. If your church has a support ministry for families affected by addiction, or if there’s a Celebrate Recovery group nearby, that can be a place where you’ll find understanding and practical wisdom from others who have walked the same road. You need care too, you’re not just a bystander in this.

We also want to gently say that addiction is complex, and real help often involves more than willpower. If your husband ever becomes open to talking with a counselor or a doctor, your steady, quiet encouragement can make a difference. But for now, focus on your own strength in the Lord and not losing hope.

Jesus, we lift up this hurting wife and her husband to You right now. Hold her close; she is weary and her heart is heavy. Break the grip of alcohol on her husband. Give him a moment of clarity, a willingness to seek help, and surround him with people who can speak truth and life into his situation. Protect their home from despair, and give her wisdom for each conversation. In Your mercy, bring healing and a path toward freedom. We trust You with this marriage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This trial presses heavily upon you, yet it is precisely such a burden that drives us to the mercy seat. That your husband is ensnared by strong drink is a grief that only the Lord can fully fathom, but know assuredly that the ear of your heavenly Father is not dull to your cry. Private prayer is the sweet release for a sorrowing heart; this world would be drear indeed if you could not pour out your anguish before Him. Be much in supplication, for the woman mighty on her knees is mighty everywhere.

Yet perhaps you have already prayed long and seen no breaking of the dawn. The enemy then whispers his cruel arrows: "God does not hear you. If you were truly His child, He would have answered ere this." Such thoughts spring from the pit! Down with them, for they blaspheme the faithfulness of Him who is a Husband to the widow and the sorrowful. Your Lord Jesus is a brother closer than any other; shall He forget? Shall He forsake? Never. Put your finger on the promise and then plead it with argumentative prayer, even as Jacob wrestled. Spread the case before the Most High and press your suit: remind Him that He is the Husband to His people, that He sets His special love upon them and delivers His spouse from every bondage.

The deliverance from any sin, including the power of drunkenness, is solely the work of God. It is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. Just as no arm but His could bring Israel out of Egypt with silver and gold, so no human reasoning or tearful pleading can break this chain unless He commands the release. The ransom has been found, the precious blood of Christ, and deliverance was invented in the heart of Eternal Love before the world began. So pray on. Cry in the daytime and in the night season. The clock of mercy will strike the hour of deliverance exactly when God’s eternal purpose has decreed it. Your present affliction is a chastening, but it is meant to drive you nearer to Him, not to cast you away.

You will yet declare the works of the Lord. When He brings you forth from this trial, you will say, "I shall not die, but live, and tell what God has done." Your testimony after deliverance will glorify Free Grace alone. Therefore, let not your self-conceit dismantle your prayer by dictating how and when God must work. Humble yourself. Confess your own shortcomings and hardness of heart. Then, with a dependent spirit, look for all sanctification and deliverance from the power of sin to come from your heavenly Father alone. He will bring your husband forth, effectually, willingly, and with the enrichment of a transformed life. Never cease your pleading at the throne, for prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The pain of seeing a husband enslaved to drink is a bitter trial, and your tears do not go unnoticed before God. Yet in this affliction, cling fast to what is true: the marriage bond remains, for a wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. This is not a cruel chain, but a place where God can work through your faithfulness. Do not think that his sin defiles you; rather, the believing wife sanctifies her household, and your quiet endurance may be the very means by which he is drawn back from the pit.

Set aside anxious plotting about how to reform him by your own devices. A wife wins her husband not by nagging, extravagance, or manipulation, but by gentleness, meekness, and a chaste, respectful conduct that fears God. A profligate man is not restrained by outward beauty or clever arguments; he is often won without a word when he sees the holy and pure reverence of his wife. So adorn your soul with patience and prayer, not with despair. Pour out your complaint to Christ, who knows how to deliver us not only from earthly troubles, but to place us above them, teaching us to despise even death through hope in Him. Pray for your husband constantly, but let your prayer be joined to a quiet and steadfast spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. Do not flee from your home or seek another man as a refuge, for that would be adultery against the law of God. Remain, as far as depends on you, in the calling to which God has appointed you, trusting that He who raised the dead can also raise a soul drowning in drink. Commend him to the Lord with fasting and tears, and wait on the mercy that comes at the hour we least expect.

Your heartache over your husband’s drinking is not hidden from God. He sees the tears you cry in private and knows the weight you carry every day. I want you to know that I am joining you in prayer, and I encourage you not to let go of hope, no matter how dark things look right now. The most powerful thing you can do is bring this situation into the hands of the One who can truly change a human heart.

Remember that the purpose of prayer is not to force your husband to do what you want, but to open the way for God’s will to be done in his life and in your home. Sometimes we fall into the trap of praying only for our own comfort or for an easier life. But God desires so much more: He wants to rescue your husband from the grip of what is destroying him, to restore your marriage, and to make your household a place of peace and holiness. So when you pray, ask God to give you a heart that genuinely longs for your husband’s deliverance and for God’s purposes above everything else. Pray that the Lord would break the chains of addiction and bring your husband to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, if he does not already know Him. That is the deepest need.

You may have been praying for a long time and seen nothing change. Do not stop. Continue in prayer, watching with thanksgiving. The wait is not a sign that God does not hear. Often He is working in ways we cannot see, and sometimes He is waiting to bring us into harmony with His will so that the answer can come. The prayers you pray in a quiet room or in the middle of the night are not wasted; they are spiritual weapons fighting a battle you cannot see. Hold on to the truth that the prayer of a righteous wife, offered in faith, has tremendous power.

As you pray, guard your own heart against bitterness. It is so easy to become wounded and resentful. But Jesus taught us that forgiveness is not an option for those who want their own prayers to be unhindered. As you ask God to forgive your husband and change him, make sure you are also walking in forgiveness yourself. That does not mean you approve of anything that harms you or the family, but it releases the poison of resentment and keeps your own spirit free before God.

In the meantime, you remain bound to your husband as one flesh. The Scriptures make it clear that a believing wife can have a sanctifying influence on her household. Your faith stands as a light in the darkness, and God can use your quiet, faithful witness to eventually draw your husband out. Do not look for excuses to leave. Unless your husband requires you to do something that goes against your conscience and your obedience to God, stay and let your patient love be a testimony. God has given you a high calling as a wife, and He will give you the strength to live it out, even when it is difficult.

When you kneel to pray, lift up your hands with a clean heart before God. Bring your husband before the throne as you would bring a wounded soul in need of a physician. Ask for his protection, his awakening, and his total freedom. Pray for the wisdom to know how to speak to him, when to be silent, and how to be a true helper. God can turn what feels like an impossible dead end into a story of redemption, for nothing is too hard for Him. Keep praying, keep believing, and do not give up.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request for your husband. It has been on our hearts to lift him up continually before the Lord, asking for His healing, deliverance, and transformation in this area of struggle. We have prayed that God would break the chains of addiction, soften your husband’s heart to receive His freedom, and surround your family with His peace and strength during this time.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—whether through a change in your husband’s heart, a step toward sobriety, or even just a glimmer of hope—we would love to celebrate with you! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If, however, the battle still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. We are still standing with you, lifting your husband before the throne of grace. Please feel free to post this request again so we can continue interceding on his behalf. Remember, the Lord hears every cry, and His timing is perfect.

May God grant you both His comfort, wisdom, and perseverance as you seek Him together. We pray that your husband would experience the life-giving power of Jesus Christ in every area of his life, and that your home would be filled with the hope that only He can bring. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
