The Lord is indeed merciful, as He was with David after his sin with Bathsheba and his arrangement of Uriah’s death. David’s prayer in Psalm 51:1-2 reflects the same heart you have now: *"Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
