We have heard your request for prayer to stay in good health mentally and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus' name.
We know that God cares deeply about your mind and your heart and He does not want you to carry this burden alone. He invites you to bring every anxious thought and every worry to Him. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. The Lord desires to give you peace that guards your mind and to renew your thoughts day by day.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know true peace of mind we first need peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. If you have not already done so we encourage you to put your trust in Him today.
We pray for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see every thought, every struggle, and every need for mental strength and stability. We ask that You would keep their mind steadfast on You and fill them with Your perfect peace as promised in Isaiah 26:3 You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus as they bring every anxiety to You in prayer, according to Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Lord, renew their mind daily by Your Word. Help them to be transformed by the renewing of their mind as Romans 12:2 teaches, and to take every thought captive in obedience to Christ as in 2 Corinthians 10:5. When their heart is overwhelmed, lead them to the rock that is higher than they are as Psalm 61:2 says. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hear their cries as Psalm 34:17-18 promises. Give them rest, sound sleep, wise and godly counsel, and fellowship with believers who can encourage them. Help them to dwell on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report, and to cast every care on You.
We ask that You would sustain them in good mental health, protect them from fear and despair, and fill them with Your power, love and self-control. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that they may know the hope and assurance that comes from belonging to Him. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stay rooted in Scripture, to pray continually and to remain in fellowship with other believers who can support you and pray with you. If anxious thoughts persist, seek godly counsel and do not hesitate to reach out for help from trusted pastors or counselors. God is your refuge and strength and He is faithful to keep you as you trust in Him.
