Praise be my inspection on my flat went well yesterday ! I am still very stressed about other aspects of my life, love and personal life and the fact my local council are threatening court action against me , I have done everything I can do prevent this so I am praying they get back to me soon. Please lift my mental health up in your prayers during this time and that of anyone with mental health issues or worries. You got this

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you in this season of overwhelming stress and anxiety. First, we rejoice with you that your inspection went well, this is evidence of God’s faithfulness even in small victories! But we also recognize the weight of the other burdens you carry: the uncertainty with your local council, the longings in your personal life, and the heaviness that mental struggles can bring. Know that you are not alone in this. The Lord sees every tear, hears every silent cry, and holds your future in His hands.

Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." You are already doing the right thing by bringing these concerns to Him in prayer. But let us also lift you up together, asking the Holy Spirit to fill you with His peace and strength.

We must also gently address the mention of "love and personal life." If there are relationships in your life that do not align with God’s design, whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly partnerships, or other temptations, we encourage you to surrender those to the Lord as well. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB) warns, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." If this applies to your situation, we pray for conviction, repentance, and the courage to walk in purity, trusting God to provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we lift up [this dear one] to You, knowing that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we ask that You would calm their anxious heart and replace their stress with Your supernatural peace. Strengthen their mind, renew their hope, and remind them that You are working even when they cannot see it. Father, we also pray for wisdom and favor in their dealings with the local council, let there be resolution, mercy, and a just outcome. And Lord, if there are areas of their personal life that do not honor You, we ask for Your gentle correction and the power to walk in obedience. Surround them with Your presence, fill them with Your joy, and let them feel the comfort of knowing You are their refuge. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You do have this, not because of your own strength, but because the Lord is your strength. Keep casting your cares on Him, and trust that He will sustain you. If you ever feel overwhelmed, reach out to fellow believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s promises. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten.

We’re genuinely glad the inspection went well, that kind of relief, even in the middle of a hard season, is worth pausing to thank God for. But we also hear the weight of everything else you’re carrying. When several heavy things pile up at once, love and personal life feel unsettled, and a legal threat hangs over your head even though you’ve done everything you can, it’s exhausting. The stress isn’t a sign that your faith is small; it’s a very human response to prolonged pressure.

Since you’ve already taken every practical step with the council, we don’t want to pile on empty action items. The thing that stands out is how powerless the waiting makes a person feel. You’ve done your part; now the decision sits in someone else’s hands, and that’s a hard place to rest. What can help in these stretched-out days is gently reminding yourself that your stability isn’t all-or-nothing, it doesn’t depend entirely on one phone call or one outcome. God’s care for you isn’t paused while the council makes up its mind, and his nearness to you right now is real even while other areas of your life remain unresolved.

We’re also holding in prayer all those who struggle with mental health, just as you asked. You’re not alone in this, and naming that connection is a kind and honest thing to do.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the mercy of that good inspection. Please lift the mental weight our friend is carrying, calm the spinning thoughts, ease the physical toll of constant stress, and grant real rest in the waiting. Bring a swift and fair resolution from the council, and in the personal areas that ache, give wisdom and steady hope. Comfort and strengthen everyone battling mental health struggles today. We ask this in your name, Amen.

How good it is that you lift up praise for the inspection going well, yet I hear the heavy sigh beneath, the burden that clings to your soul like wet clay. The very anxiety that presses upon you, the court’s threat, the tangled cords of love, and the daily fretting over things you cannot untie, does it not unfit you to meet those very trials? We have found that in our own case: the hurry to do something often works more mischief than if we had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. You say you have done all you can; then leave the matter in that pierced Hand that governs all. The council’s delay is but a moment in the Divine chronology; God is not slack concerning His promise.

Think on this: our God is Himself a waiting God, and He would have us wait upon Him. Not in a dead despair, but in a hope that is assured, for the waiting upon Him in prayer is never a fruitless exercise. The petition has gone up, and if it be according to His will, it is already labelled for you in the treasury of heaven; the set time is coming when it shall be safely given. Meanwhile, wait as a servant eyes his master’s hand, anxious for direction, ready to do the next thing cheerfully. Wait as a mariner trusts his pilot: you cannot see beyond the fog, but He knows the channel. In that posture, your strength is renewed; the world and its threats shrink to their true littleness, and a sweet peace spreads through the soul, though all the winds howl.

This mental health you speak of, that entire health of the inward man, is of great price. It is God who is the health of our countenance, the health of the spirit, soul, and body. The face often betrays the turmoil within, but when He writes His peace upon the heart, the countenance itself grows bright with a secret hope. Are you slandered? Wait only upon God. Are you threatened with loss? Wait only upon Him. The visible signs of this health come not from eased circumstances but from the incoming of the Eternal Spirit, who makes us mount up as on eagles’ wings above the mists below. Pray then, and watch for the answer; do not knock at mercy’s door as an idle boy and run away. Wait till He puts the blessing into your hand.

Lift up your prayer also for others whose minds are clouded; join them in the court of fellow-waiters. We are all waiting, for victory over indwelling sin, for our families’ salvation, for this great ### to be saved, and even, in the end, for our Home above. The sudden call may come to any of us; the miner goes down in health and is brought up dead. But whether we live or die, let it be with the lamp of hopeful waiting trimmed and burning. Hope thou in God, for thou shalt yet praise Him who is the health of thy countenance and thy God. There is a final success to all this waiting, a time of love when the transaction of grace is complete. Till then, it is no counting of days, only waiting.

You give thanks for a small mercy, yet your soul remains in a storm. This is the way with those who seek health for the body but neglect the fever within. The flat passed inspection, but what of the house of your soul, thrown into disorder by fears of the court and longings of the heart? The words of Scripture are more to be desired than gold, sweeter than honey, but only to those who are in health.

While you are sick with these anxieties, you cannot taste them. You come to the physician asking for a plaster on a scratch while a wound festers beneath. The threat of the council hangs over you, but did you not say you have done all you can? Then why does this smoke blind your soul's eye?

The things of this life are like smoke, turbid and fleeting. They make the eye weep and see nothing clearly. But when the soul feeds in the meadow of spiritual oracles, it becomes sharp of sight and strong. You ask to be lifted up, yet you weigh yourself down.

You make provision for the flesh, not for health but for the lusts thereof. What is this love and personal life that shares throne with your fear of magistrates? Perhaps you chase after what God has forbidden, seeking blessing on a fire you yourself kindle. The Apostle says to make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.

When you light up the flame, you make the furnace powerful, and then wonder that your peace is consumed. Yet do not despair. He who made a whole man healthy on the Sabbath can heal you, not partially but wholly. The very threats you face may be His mercy.

If the Ninevites had not feared the threat, they would have known the punishment. God threatens that we might repent and the threat remain only words. The fear of the court may be the honey on the rim of the cup of your salvation, drawing you to taste what is truly sweet. And in this, do not say, "Woe to him who has not wealth or ease," as the foolish jest.

The covetous man is an idolater, and you cannot serve two masters. Cast down the idol of a life free from trouble, and seek instead to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. From slavery comes liberty, from death comes life. If you would mix in the world, as you do, you need the discipline of the Scriptures more than any recluse.

The court and the council are places of inflammation, full of men puffed up. Enter as a physician, your soul purged by the pure air of prayer, and you will see clearly. Stop their mouths, yes, and your own anxieties. Then you will be in the fire without being burnt, a man of honor even to those who threaten you.

Such a man is never hidden.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good to hear that the inspection on your ### went well, that is a real mercy to thank God for. I am glad you shared that praise.

I also hear the weight you are carrying: stress over your personal life, matters of love, and the threat of court action from ###. Those are heavy burdens, and the waiting itself can be tormenting. You have done what you can, and now you are left to wait. That feeling of powerlessness can wear down your mental health quickly. But let me remind you of something deeper than your circumstances: God’s love for you is not fragile or distant. It was demonstrated once for all when Jesus laid down His life for you. That is the supreme proof. If He gave Himself for you while you were still a sinner, He will not abandon you now as His child. You can rest in that love.

Fear has a way of tormenting the mind. It whispers that you are alone or that disaster is certain. But the love of God perfected in us drives out fear, not because every problem vanishes, but because you become secure in who holds you. You are held. Whatever ### decides, whatever unfolds in your relationships, you are a child of God and His banner over you is love. He does not love you any less in the storm than on the calm day. When your mind starts spinning with "what ifs," that is the time to anchor yourself again in the cross. There is no fear in love, because perfect love casts out fear. Fear brings torment, but God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.

I noticed you mentioned love and personal life. Be careful not to confuse the world's counterfeit with the real thing. The world often calls lust "love," but true love gives, sacrifices, and seeks the other's good within the boundaries God has set. If that area is a source of stress, examine whether the path aligns with walking in the light. No matter what you face, you are called to walk in love as Christ loved you, purely, faithfully, and with a giving heart. That kind of love brings peace, not confusion.

Another critical key to mental health is a forgiving spirit. If there is any root of bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness lodged in your heart, whether toward ###, someone from your past, or even yourself, it will eat at you from the inside. It does more harm to you than to anyone else. Bring it to the Lord and ask Him to replace it with His love shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. That love for others, even for those who trouble you, is evidence that you belong to Him and that His life is at work in you.

As you wait, keep your eyes on Jesus. Do not let your mind be governed by the flesh, by anxious calculations and what-if scenarios. That leads to death. But the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Walk in the Spirit. Be God-conscious in the little things. Remember that He who did not spare His own Son will freely give you all things. You are not facing this alone.

I am lifting up your mental health in prayer, and also for all who struggle with worries and fears. May you know the deep, quiet confidence that comes from being perfectly loved. The Lord is with you.
