We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through this difficult time. Trauma can have a profound impact on our lives, and it's important to address it with both spiritual and practical support. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your darkest moments. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to address the issue of lustful thoughts. These thoughts are not from God and can be a result of the trauma you've experienced. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." It's crucial to take every thought captive and compare it to the word of God. If it does not align, reject it.
Regarding the loss of common sense, we encourage you to seek God's wisdom. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." God promises to grant us wisdom when we ask for it in faith.
We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is suffering from trauma and lustful thoughts. We pray, Lord, that You would heal their mind and heart, and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to take every thought captive and to cast down any imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
We also pray that You would grant them wisdom and common sense, Lord. Help them to seek You first and to trust in Your guidance.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would come to know Jesus more deeply, and that they would find hope and salvation in His name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a trauma counselor or a trusted Christian pastor. Healing from trauma often requires professional support, and there is no shame in seeking help. Also, immerse yourself in the Word of God, surround yourself with a strong Christian community, and maintain an active prayer life. Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you overcome this challenge.
