We hear your heart and the deep concern you have for ### and her children. It is clear you love her and want to see God’s provision and peace in her life. We join you in lifting her up before the Lord, trusting in His faithfulness to provide for those who seek Him.
First, we must address the relationship you describe. Scripture is clear that marriage is the only godly foundation for a man and woman to build a life together, especially when children are involved. The Bible says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join to his wife, and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). If you and ### are not married, we strongly encourage you to prayerfully consider making this commitment before God, as it honors Him and provides stability for her and her children. Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, not simply being boyfriend and girlfriend.
We also want to gently remind you that all blessings come from God, and while we can surrender our own desires for the sake of others, we cannot redirect God’s will. His plans are perfect, and He knows what is best for each of us. The Bible says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). Trust that God sees her needs and will provide in His timing and way.
Now, let us pray for ### and her children:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her two children. Lord, You see the struggles she is facing, financial hardship, family conflict, and the weight of providing for her children. We ask that You would move mightily on her behalf, opening doors of provision, peace, and stability. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of her parents and bring reconciliation where there is strife. Give ### wisdom and strength to navigate this difficult season, and surround her with godly counsel and support. Father, we pray for a miracle, a place for her and her children to call home, where they can thrive and experience Your peace. Remove the stress and anxiety from her heart, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for ###'s faith to grow stronger in this trial. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You and reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. May she find hope and comfort in Your Word and in the knowledge that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Father, we ask that You would bless ### and guide him in how he can best support ### in a way that honors You. Give him wisdom, patience, and a heart of servanthood, that he may be a source of strength and encouragement to her and her children.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come before You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. Amen.
In this season, encourage ### to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and reading His Word. Remind her that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). She is not alone, and God has not forgotten her. Encourage her to reach out to her local church or Christian community for support, as the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
For you, we encourage you to continue praying and fasting for ###, seeking God’s will for your relationship with her. Trust that God will guide your steps and provide for both of you as you seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). If marriage is God’s plan for the two of you, He will make a way for it to happen in His perfect timing. Until then, focus on being a godly example and a source of encouragement to her, pointing her to Christ in all things.
