Memories & Praise for blessings

Today I just want to shout my praise to God for the gift and blessing of my daughter. I was a scared, ill, first time mother-to-be 21 years ago today. Due to my toxemia, the doctors wanted to deliver me almost 7 weeks early. They told me all kinds of things that could be wrong with the baby once it was delivered, but said both of our lives were in jeopardy if we did not proceed. I trusted God to bring us through, and He gave us a miracle. Not only was the tiny, 4 pound baby girl I delivered perfectly healthy, but my blood pressure returned to normal immediately without further problem. Every day of my life she has been such a joy, inspiration and blessing to not only me, but all those around her. How great is our God!

Father, I praise You and thank You for the beautiful daughter You gave me 21 years ago. She has enriched my life in ways I never even dreamed. May You love, guide, protect and provide for her all the days of her life. Help her to make sound choices, surround her with excellent, Christian role models and mentors, bless her spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. From the moment they placed her in my arms, I felt that I had actually touched You, Father. Thank you for this ongoing miracle. In Jesus' precious name, amen.

I thank You for this Mom's wonderful and beautiful thank offering to You. Wow! I pray K-J feel this joy and gratitude this entire day. Let nothing rob this or bring her down. Help her to rest in the miracle of her daughter and this testament to Your power, that You are in control! I pray for her daughter as well, that You bless her and hold her close. Protect her with You mighty angels and help her to follow Your lead in all she does. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

KJ, I just want you to know that you are an amazing woman, and I have great respect and admiration for you and the strength you have in Christ Jesus!!!

Lord Jesus, there are so many that do not have the kind of relationships with their moms as KJ and her baby girl do, and I want to thank You and praise You for this bond they share. Thank You all for your prayers. My daughter & l do share an amazing, very close personal relationship and I am so thankful to God for that. But then again, I had the best teacher, mentor, mother and friend to show me the way. (Love ya, Mom). I pray we all place God first in our lives, and our family relationships right behind. What a joyous reunion it will be one day when our Father welcomes us home! Amen!!
