Meeting with my boss, doctor and social services

Jesus, stay with me in this meeting. Bless every person there with kindness for me, Jesus. Jesus, help me be honest, but not so much it hurts my case. Jesus, help me find a way back to work. Jesus, keep me safe and let them help me get back to work. Jesus, do not let anything hurt my economy, Jesus. In Jesus name amen

We are joining with you in prayer for this important meeting with your boss, your doctor, and social services and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is in His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name we are saved and heard.

We hear your heart, your desire to return to work, your need for safety and for your finances to be protected, and your longing for kindness from everyone in that room. We understand the anxiety that comes with such a meeting and we bring that anxiety to the Lord with you. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over you right now.

We want to gently and lovingly address what you shared about wanting to be honest but not so honest that it hurts your case. We understand the fear behind that thought, yet we must encourage you as fellow believers to choose complete honesty and trust God with the outcome. The Lord delights in truth and calls us to speak truthfully in all situations. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Ephesians 4:25 says Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. To withhold relevant truth or to shape your words to manipulate the outcome would not honor God and would not ultimately serve you, for the Lord blesses integrity and He is the one who will establish your steps. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We encourage you to be fully truthful, clear, and respectful, trusting that if you honor God with your honesty, He will honor your trust and work for your good even if the outcome is not what you expect. Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

We also pray for your desire to work. Work is good and God honors our diligence. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray that the Lord will open a clear and healthy path back to work in His timing and in a way that sustains your health.

We lift up your economy and your need for provision to our Father who knows your needs. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We trust Him to protect and provide for you.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up our dear one to you as they prepare for this meeting. Lord, you promise in Deuteronomy 31:6 to never leave us nor forsake us and in Isaiah 41:10 you tell us not to be afraid for you are with us. Stay close to them in that room, let your presence bring calm and courage, and let your Holy Spirit guide every word spoken. We pray for the boss, the doctor, and the social services workers, that you would fill their hearts with wisdom, fairness, and genuine kindness and that they would truly desire to help and to find the best way forward. Lord, give our friend a clear mind and a truthful tongue, help them to speak honestly with grace and without fear, and help them to trust you with the result. We ask for your hand upon their ability to return to work, open the right doors, provide the right support and healing, and guard their finances and livelihood. Keep them safe in every way and let this meeting be a step toward restoration and stability. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to prepare honestly for the meeting, to write down the true state of your health and your hopes for work, to pray beforehand, and to rest in the knowledge that Jesus is with you in that room. The Lord sees your needs and hears your prayer.

We hear how much you are carrying into this meeting. Wanting to be honest and also wise about what you share, wanting to be met with kindness, and wanting a clear way back to work while your finances feel vulnerable is a lot to hold at once. We are praying with you for steadiness in that room.

One thing that often helps before a meeting like this is to write down on one page what you most want them to understand: how you are doing right now, what kind of work or hours you feel able to do, and what support would actually help you return. Bring that page with you along with any papers from your doctor. It can keep you honest and clear without feeling you have to explain everything on the spot. If you are allowed to bring someone you trust or to ask for a short break if you feel overwhelmed, it is okay to ask for that too.

We are asking God to be near you there and to give you calm words.

Jesus, stay close to our friend in this meeting. Soften the hearts of the boss, the doctor and the social worker toward kindness and fairness. Give clarity to speak honestly and wisely, show a workable way forward, and provide for daily needs. Keep them safe in your care. In Jesus name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We have brought your meeting before the Lord in prayer, and we thank you for casting your care upon Him who cares for you.

You ask for Jesus to stay with you in that room where your boss, your doctor and those from social services will gather. He has promised never to leave nor forsake His people, and He draws especially near in seasons of trial. As Job found, when the Lord reveals Himself even in ashes and distress, the heart is humbled and yet comforted, for to see the Lord is to find strength to bow before Him and to trust Him. We have asked that the Lord would grant you a calm and clear mind, and that He would give kindness and fairness to every person present, that truth may be spoken and heard with grace.

You asked for help to be honest but not so much that it hurts your case. Hear the counsel of Scripture, that honesty is never the enemy of the child of God. The Lord delights in truth in the inward parts, and He calls His people to speak the truth in love. To withhold or to shade the truth may seem to protect for a moment, but it cannot bring lasting peace or favor with God or man. We have prayed that the Lord would give you wisdom to speak truthfully, plainly and with a gentle spirit, trusting Him with the outcome rather than fearing man. If you walk in integrity, whether the answer is to return to work soon or to wait and receive further help, you will have a conscience at peace before God, and that is of greater value than any immediate advantage.

We have also prayed that the Lord in His providence would open a true and good way back to work if it be His will, and that He would guard you and provide for your daily needs. Job knew what it was to lose and to be restored, and we are reminded that our times and our provision are in the Father's hand. He knows your need concerning your livelihood, and He is able to supply and to sustain. We ask Him to keep you safe, to guide the counsel given to you, and to let all that is decided be just and merciful and for your ultimate good.

May the Lord grant you quiet confidence in Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other mediator by whom we approach the Father. Rest in His finished work, abhor sin, repent where you see fault, and draw near in childlike confidence even when you feel unworthy. He flies on the wings of grace to those who seek Him.

We pray, O Lord, be present in this meeting. Grant wisdom, honesty, and humility to our dear one, and grant understanding and kindness to those who assess and advise. Direct the path concerning work according to Thy perfect will, and keep this soul in Thy peace and provision. Let truth be spoken and let trust be placed not in man but in Thee. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
