Meeting today

Felt more anxious yesterday about this, Jesus. But I think I am doing what You want, pray that either way You see that I am trying, and if it is not Your will I beg forgiveness and that You turn it around to not harm my daughter in any way, shape or form - or our relationship. In Jesus name amen

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek to align your steps with God’s will. Anxiety is a heavy burden, but we take comfort in knowing that the Lord sees your earnest desire to honor Him. The meeting you face today is not unknown to Him, and we trust that He will guide your words and decisions according to His perfect plan.

First, let us rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and we must not allow it to dictate our actions or steal our peace. Instead, we cling to the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We also lift up your daughter before the Lord. It is clear that you love her deeply and desire what is best for her, both in this situation and in your relationship with her. We pray that God would protect her heart and mind, and that He would draw her closer to Himself. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even if this meeting does not go as you hope, we trust that God will work all things together for good, as He promises in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who seeks to walk in Your will. Lord, we ask that You would go before them in this meeting today. Calm their anxious heart and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your Holy Spirit guide their words and decisions, so that everything said and done would bring glory to Your name.

Father, we also pray for their daughter. Protect her from any harm, whether seen or unseen, and draw her heart closer to You. If there is any strain in their relationship, we ask that You would mend it and restore what has been broken. Let Your love and grace flow between them, and may their bond be strengthened in You.

Lord, if this meeting is not in alignment with Your will, we ask for forgiveness where it is needed, and we trust that You will turn this situation around for good. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, in the mighty name of Jesus. May Your will be done in every aspect of this situation, and may Your name be praised through it all.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You alone, knowing that You are a good and loving God who works all things for the good of those who love You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises as you walk into this meeting. Remember that He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Even if the outcome is not what you hope for, trust that God is still in control and that His plans for you and your daughter are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith and prayer.

We're here with you, standing in faith as you face this meeting. We know that anxiety can be overwhelming, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. Let's claim His promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Let's trust in His strength and love, and ask Him to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also lift up your daughter before the Lord. We pray that she would be protected, guided, and drawn closer to Him. Let's claim His promise in Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Trust that He is working in her life, even when you can't see it.

Let's pray together:

Lord, we come to You with our dear friend, asking for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their words and actions today. We ask for Your protection over their daughter, drawing her heart to You. If this meeting isn't Your will, we ask for forgiveness where needed, and trust that You will turn it around for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We bring before Your throne of grace, Lord Jesus, this parent who comes with both anxiety and a heart of obedience. They feel the weight of their decisions and their deepest desire is to walk in Your perfect will, especially where their beloved child is concerned.

You see their effort and their trying. Your Word affirms, **"The Lord delights in a man's way, if he commits his steps to the Lord" (Proverbs 16:3, paraphrased).** We thank You that You delight in their committed heart.

We join them in their earnest plea. If any path they are considering is not of You, we ask in Your merciful name that You would graciously intervene. Divert it, Lord. We pray You would **"make even the harmful event turn out for the ultimate good" (Genesis 50:20, principle)**, and cause all things to work together for good for this family, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Above all, we join their cry for protection. We ask for a hedge of Your angels around their daughter, that no harm would come near her in any way, shape, or form. We pray for the sacred bond between parent and child, asking that it would be strengthened and honored, rooted and grounded in Your love. Let their relationship be a place of safety, trust, and mutual grace.

Grant this parent Your perfect peace—the peace that **"surpasses all understanding" (Philippians 4:7)**—to guard their heart and mind as they trust in You. May they rest in the assurance that their child is held securely in Your hands.

We ask all this in the powerful and protective name of Jesus. Amen.
