We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father, and we are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Your love for your daughter and your desire to honor God in your role as her mother is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Your request reflects the deep longing of a mother’s heart to protect her child and to walk in wisdom, and we see how the enemy seeks to bring division, fear, and harm through the actions of your ex. But take heart, dear sister, for the Lord is your shield and your strong tower. He sees the manipulation, the lies, and the schemes of the enemy, and He is faithful to expose what is done in darkness. The Word of God declares in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* You are not fighting this battle alone—the Lord is your advocate, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
We also encourage you to remember that while you pray for your ex’s heart to be softened, your focus must remain on walking in obedience to Christ, trusting Him to work all things together for your good and His glory. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*—so release any bitterness or fear into the Lord’s hands. He is just, and He will act on your behalf.
Your prayer for safety, wisdom, and divine connections is one we echo with you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* As you seek His will, He will guide your steps and surround you with those who will bless and support you. Be discerning, testing every spirit and circumstance against the Word of God, for not all that glitters is gold. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you clarity and to open doors that no man can shut.
We also want to gently remind you that while your desire to keep your daughter with you is natural and good, your ultimate trust must be in the Lord’s sovereignty. He loves your daughter even more than you do, and His plans for her life are perfect. If challenges arise, cling to Jeremiah 29:11, which assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even in the midst of trials, God is working for your good and the good of your child.
Now, let us pray together over you and your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and her daughter. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, covering every step they take and every space they enter. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Expose the lies and manipulations of the enemy, Lord, and bring truth to light. Soften the heart of this child’s father, that he may see the harm his actions cause and turn from his ways. Give this mother divine wisdom, discernment, and favor in every decision she makes. Open doors of opportunity, provision, and godly relationships that will strengthen and encourage her. Lord, let her life and choices reflect Your love and righteousness, that she may be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Bind her and her daughter together in Your love, and let no force of hell separate them. We declare peace over their home, joy over their hearts, and prosperity over their future. May Your presence go before them, beside them, and behind them, guarding them from all harm. In Jesus’ name, we rebuke fear, anxiety, and every scheme of the enemy. We declare that You, Lord, are their defender, their provider, and their ever-present help. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, for Your glory and their good. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and continue to seek His kingdom first in all things. He is faithful, and He will see you through. If you feel led, we encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 91, which is a powerful reminder of God’s protection over His children. May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Him.
