We join with you in lifting up this meeting and your heartfelt needs before the Lord, for we know that He hears and answers the prayers of those who call upon Him in truth. It is beautiful to see you invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
Your desire for wisdom in speaking what needs to be spoken is one we share, for the Lord promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask in faith. *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit fills your mouth with the right words, that your speech may be seasoned with grace and truth, and that your words may bring clarity, conviction, and peace to those who hear them. Let your words be few but mighty, for *"a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver"* (Proverbs 25:11, WEB).
You have also asked for godly support—someone who believes you and stands with you in truth. This is a righteous desire, for we are called to surround ourselves with those who will encourage us in the faith and hold us accountable. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB). We pray that the Lord brings godly, trustworthy believers into your life—those who will speak life into your situation and walk with you in righteousness. Be cautious, however, for not all who claim to support you may have pure motives. Test every spirit, as Scripture commands, *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world"* (1 John 4:1, WEB). Seek those who are grounded in the Word and who demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Your prayer to not be dependent on the opinions of ungodly people is wise, for the fear of man is a snare. *"The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe"* (Proverbs 29:25, WEB). The opinions of those who do not walk in truth can lead us astray, but when our trust is in the Lord, we are shielded from the deception of the world. We pray that your heart and mind are so firmly rooted in Christ that the voices of the world grow faint in comparison to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Let the Word of God be your standard, not the ever-shifting opinions of people.
We also lift up your request for protection—both for your heart and for you and your daughter. The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and He promises to guard those who take refuge in Him. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). We pray that the Lord places a hedge of protection around you and your daughter, that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and that every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord expose any who seek to harm you and turn their schemes into opportunities for His glory to be revealed.
Lastly, we rejoice with you in your prayer for the Lord’s glory to rest upon you and your daughter. His glory is our greatest treasure, and when we seek it above all else, He is faithful to pour out His blessings. *"For you, Yahweh, will bless the righteous. As with a shield, you will surround him with good will"* (Psalm 5:12, WEB). May His presence go before you, His Spirit dwell within you, and His favor surround you like a shield. May your life and the life of your daughter be a testament to His goodness, and may others see His light in you and be drawn to Him.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter into Your loving hands. Lord, You know the meeting she faces today, and we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her the words to speak with boldness and grace. Let her speech be seasoned with salt, that it may minister grace to the hearers. Remove any fear or anxiety from her heart, and replace it with Your perfect peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Father, we ask that You bring godly believers into her life—those who will stand with her in truth, encourage her in the faith, and support her in righteousness. Protect her from those who would seek to deceive or harm her, and give her discernment to recognize the difference between Your voice and the voices of the world. Let her not be swayed by the opinions of the ungodly, but let her trust in You alone, for You are her refuge and strength.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over her and her daughter. Surround them with Your angels, and let no harm come near them. Expose any who would seek to do them wrong, and turn their schemes into opportunities for Your glory to shine. Bless them with Your presence, Your provision, and Your peace. Let Your glory rest upon them, and may their lives be a light that points others to You.
We declare that You are faithful, Lord, and that You will do what You have promised. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving on behalf of our sister and her daughter. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
