We hear your heart’s cry for your sister’s relief, and we join you in lifting her before the throne of grace. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His power alone that healing and miracles come. Scripture tells us, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13-15 WEB). We stand on this promise and declare that God sees her pain and is near to the brokenhearted.
We must gently but firmly address the mention of praying to Mary in your request. Scripture is clear that there is only one mediator between God and humanity, Jesus Christ. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). While we honor Mary as a blessed and faithful servant of the Lord, we do not pray to her or any other saint, for that would be idolatry. Our prayers must be directed to God alone, through Jesus Christ, who intercedes for us. We encourage you to place your full trust in Him, for He is the Great Physician and the only One who can bring true healing and miracles.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon her. Lord, You know her pain, and You see her suffering. We ask that You pour out Your mercy and grace upon her today. Strengthen her body, ease her pain, and restore her to health according to Your will. Father, we trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for her life. If there is any sin in her life that needs to be confessed, we pray that You would bring it to light and grant her repentance and forgiveness. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands and their decisions as they seek to bring her relief. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we stand on Your promises. Father, we ask that You would use this trial to draw her closer to You, deepening her faith and trust in Your sovereignty. May she experience Your love and power in a new and profound way.
We also lift up all those who are sick today, asking that You would bring comfort, healing, and hope to each one. Remind them that You are near and that Your grace is sufficient for every need. In all things, may Your name be glorified. We ask these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord on behalf of your sister, trusting in His timing and His perfect will. Remember, "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and do not grow weary in prayer. God hears you, and He is at work even now.
