We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s healing hand to rest upon her in every medical need she faces today. The Scriptures assure us that "the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears our cries and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
However, we must address a matter of great importance with love and clarity. While we honor the sincerity of your prayer, we must gently correct the inclusion of "divine mother Mary" in your petition. Scripture is clear that there is only one mediator between God and man—Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5). We are to pray *in His name alone*, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Mary was a blessed and faithful servant of the Lord, but she is not divine, nor is she to be invoked in prayer. Our prayers must be directed to the Father, through the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also rebuke any confusion or deception that may lead believers to elevate any created being—whether Mary, angels, or saints—above Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Let us fix our eyes on Him alone, for He is our Great Physician (Exodus 15:26) and the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We ask for Your divine touch upon our sister’s body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen her where she is weak, comfort her where she is afraid, and restore her to full health according to Your perfect will. Guide the hands of her medical team, grant wisdom to those who prescribe her treatment, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in her life or any unforgiveness, we ask that You bring it to light and grant her the grace to repent and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:9). Let her trust in You grow deeper, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she *is* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for Your faithfulness. May she experience Your presence in a tangible way today, and may her testimony bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
