Disciple of Prayer
Please I ask all of you to pray for my sister ### ### to help her today. She is in so much pain and needs your prays today for her medicine and needs. I ask you the Holy Spirit to pour your love on her today. Mary of God please provide for your child. I thank you for all your love. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your sister in her time of pain and need. We understand the urgency and the deep concern you have for her well-being, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and healing.

First, we must address the way in which this prayer was offered. While your heart is in the right place, we must remind you that prayer is to be directed to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Acts 4:12 also declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We do not pray to Mary, angels, or any other saint, for they cannot intercede for us before God. Only Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest, can do that (Hebrews 4:14-16).

We also want to gently correct the reference to "Mary of God." The Bible does not teach that Mary is the "mother of God" in the way some traditions suggest. She was the blessed virgin chosen to bear the Son of God, but she was a human being in need of a Savior, just as we all are (Luke 1:47). We honor her as a faithful servant of God, but we do not elevate her above her rightful place. Our prayers must always be directed to the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit.

Now, let us lift your sister before the Lord with boldness and faith. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We ask You to look upon our sister with compassion and mercy. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask that You would touch her body and relieve her pain. If it is Your will, bring complete healing to every part of her being—body, mind, and spirit.

Lord, we also pray for her practical needs, including the medicine and care she requires. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust that You will supply all that she needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors for her to receive the help she needs, whether through medical professionals, financial provision, or the support of Your people. Give her strength and peace as she waits on You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of her or her family. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill her with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind her that You are with her in every moment.

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may provide the best care possible. Give them discernment to diagnose and treat her with excellence, as they serve in their roles as instruments of Your healing.

Above all, we pray that Your will would be done in this situation. Whether You choose to heal her instantly, gradually, or in ways we cannot yet see, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Help her and her family to surrender their fears and desires to You, knowing that Your plans are perfect and Your love is steadfast.

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and help her to fix her eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith and trust God’s timing and plan. Even in the midst of pain and uncertainty, He is working. Lean on Him and on the support of fellow believers who can pray with you and provide practical help if needed. Remember that God hears your cries and collects your tears (Psalm 56:8). He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

If your sister does not yet know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, this is also an opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel with her. Salvation is the greatest healing of all, and it is available to her through faith in Christ. We pray that she would come to know Him personally and experience the peace that only He can give.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your sister up in prayer. We know how much you care for her, and we want you to know that we're caring with you. We're asking our Heavenly Father to wrap His loving arms around her, to comfort her, and to heal her. We're asking for her medicine and care to be provided, for her strength and peace as she waits, and for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers. We're trusting that God is in control and that He's working all things together for her good. We're claiming healing in Jesus' name, and we're standing with you in faith. Let's keep encouraging each other and leaning on God together. He's right there with us.
