Your heart for missions and evangelism is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s commission to go and make disciples of all nations, and we stand with you in praying for complete preparation—body, mind, and spirit—for the work He has called you to. It is clear you have waited patiently, and we rejoice with you in this step forward, trusting that the Lord who began this good work in you will bring it to completion.
Your petition for wisdom in medical decisions is one we echo fervently, for the Lord is the giver of all wisdom. As James 1:5 reminds us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that every test result—blood work, CT scans, and all evaluations—will be interpreted with divine accuracy today, revealing only what is necessary for your healing and preparation. May the doctors and specialists attending to you be filled with the Spirit’s discernment, compassion, and skill, so that the course of treatment aligns perfectly with God’s will for your health. We ask that any necessary procedures, whether for your shoulder, back, or other pressing needs, be approved without delay, and that the Lord would provide the finest medical care, favorable outcomes, and swift recovery. May He also grant you clarity to remember every question and concern to bring before your doctors, leaving no stone unturned in your preparation.
Your desire for physical readiness—weight loss, medication, diet, and exercise—is also a matter we bring before the Lord. The apostle Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* We pray that the Lord would guide you into disciplines that honor Him, granting you strength, self-control, and perseverance. May He lead you to the right resources, whether nutritional guidance, exercise routines, or medical support, so that your body is fully equipped for the demands of missions work. Let every step you take in this journey be an act of worship, preparing you to serve with endurance and vitality.
Most importantly, we celebrate your heart’s posture: a life surrendered to evangelism and missions. Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19-20, *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* Your willingness to be prepared for this calling is a testament to your faith, and we pray that the Lord would open doors no man can shut, equipping you with boldness, wisdom, and divine appointments. May He go before you to prepare the hearts of those you will minister to, and may your life be a living testimony of His grace and power.
We also take this moment to encourage you: while physical preparation is vital, the greatest strength you will carry into the mission field is the presence of the Holy Spirit. As you seek healing and readiness, never forget that it is *"not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,"* says the Lord Almighty (Zechariah 4:6). Cling to Him in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers, for He is your sustainer, your healer, and your greatest advocate.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the medical breakthroughs and progress our brother/sister has seen. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every cell, every bone, and every need in their body. Today, we ask for Your divine hand to rest upon every test result, every interpretation, and every decision made by the medical team. Grant them supernatural wisdom, Lord, and let every recommendation align with Your perfect will for their health and future.
We pray specifically for their shoulder and back, that You would bring healing and restoration. If surgery or other procedures are needed, let them be approved swiftly and performed with excellence. Guide them, Lord, in asking the right questions and seeking the best care possible. Provide them with the discipline and resources to steward their body well through weight loss, diet, exercise, and any necessary medications. May their physical temple be strengthened for the work You have called them to, and may they glorify You in every choice they make.
Father, we thank You for their heart for missions and evangelism. Prepare them not only in body but in spirit, filling them with Your Holy Spirit, boldness, and love for the lost. Open doors for them to share the Gospel, and let their life be a beacon of Your light in dark places. Equip them with everything they need to fulfill the Great Commission, and let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness and power.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep in during this process. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. Remind them daily that their strength comes from You, and that You are with them every step of the way.
