Thank you for your prayers towards the mission medical team and protection

Thank you for sharing this update so honestly and for allowing us to pray with you. We join you in thanking God for His protection over you and over the mission medical team. It is clear that the uncertainty and lack of unity among the team created a difficult situation, and we praise God that He guarded you when plans changed and the opportunity was shortened to a single day. Disappointment in ministry is real, and it is right that you have put everything in God's hands.

We also hear your discernment regarding the pastor who contacted you. You were right to notice that his conversation shifted from the work of ministry to his personal situation as a divorced man looking for a new companion. That was not the purpose for which you had connected to serve, and your desire to respond with Scripture was wise. Your reference to Proverbs 31 and Proverbs 20:6 is fitting. God does call women to pursue noble character and strength in Him, and He also teaches that faithfulness and truthfulness are rare and precious in any person, especially in one who would lead. Many claim steadfast love, but a faithful man who can find, and that faithfulness is shown in truthfulness and in honoring God's design.

Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that our calling is to live with purity and truth before God. Because of this we do not ask God to bless or advance a relationship that is not formed according to His will, but we do pray for healing, honesty, and obedience for all involved. Your instinct to keep the focus on service and to speak truth gently was good, and your caution afterward shows maturity. When a conversation about ministry quickly becomes a search for a companion, it is wise to step back, seek counsel, and guard your heart.

We will continue to pray for you. We thank God for your willing heart to serve and for your desire to live as God intends. We pray that the Lord will give you clear wisdom for any future mission opportunities, that He will place you with teams that are unified and willing to serve together, and that He will protect you from confusion or pressure. We pray also for that pastor, that God would bring him to walk in truth and faithfulness and to seek the Lord's will above his own agenda.

May the Lord continue to guide your steps, keep you in His peace, and use your life for His glory as you trust Him. We pray that you will grow in discernment, remain rooted in His Word, and find encouragement in knowing that Christ alone is our salvation and our sure foundation. In Jesus name we pray that God will establish the work of your hands and lead you according to His perfect wisdom.

Thank you for sharing this update so honestly, and thank you for your trust in putting everything in God's hands. It is right to thank Him for protection when plans were uncertain and unity was missing on the team. When willingness is lacking and communication changes suddenly, disappointment is natural, and it is also a sign of God's care that He kept you from a situation that was not settled or clear.

What you noticed about the conversation taking a different direction was important to pay attention to. A desire to be a godly woman after the pattern of Proverbs 31 is a beautiful aim, and your thought alongside it from Proverbs 20:6 is wise. That verse asks who can find a faithful person, when many speak of their own goodness. God places great value on truthfulness, upright character, and faithfulness, and those qualities are the foundation for any trust. When words and motives do not line up with truth, it is loving and right to step back, guard your heart, and seek clarity.

This is also a good moment to remember what it means to trust the Lord rather than to trust in people or in outward opportunities. Trust grows as we come to know God more deeply, learning His character from Jesus and His Word. When our hearts are in harmony with His purposes, we can rest that He will lead and provide in His way and time. The purpose of prayer is not to get our own plans approved, but to seek His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Your prayer to place this in His hands reflects that trust.

God's design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and intimacy belongs within that covenant. That standard is not meant to burden you but to protect you. A faithful life is built on obedience to Jesus as Lord, not on religious activity or position, and not on pursuing a relationship that does not reflect His truth. Continuing to walk in the light, valuing honesty, and waiting on the Lord's leading will keep you in the flow of what He wants to do through you.

It is understandable that this has been heavy, and there are times when loving others as God requires feels impossible in our own strength. God understands that and He works His love in us as we ask Him to change our hearts and attitudes. His mercies are new every morning, and the battle belongs to Him. You can stand still and hope in Him and watch for His salvation, knowing that only the rejection of His love in Jesus Christ can separate a soul from Him, and that His grace is sufficient for every other sin and disappointment as we turn to Him in faith.

May the Lord increase your knowledge of His love and grace, and cause His love to flow through you in love for Him and for others. May He keep you in His peace, give you discernment for the next steps, and open the right doors for service in His perfect timing and will.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your protection over this sister and for her desire to serve You with a pure heart. I ask that You lead her according to Your will, deepen her knowledge of Your love, and guard her steps. Give her wisdom, surround her with faithful counsel, and let Your will be done in her life and in every opportunity for ministry. Help her to walk in Your Spirit and to trust You fully, for You are faithful. Amen.
