Medicaid facility

Beloved of All
Please pray that ###’s friend ### will be accepted into one of the best long term care facilities for people in her condition on Medicaid in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We lift up this urgent need before the Lord, trusting in His provision and perfect timing. Father God, we come before You with hearts full of concern for this dear sister in Christ and her friend who is in need of long-term care. You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the doors to the best possible facility that will meet her medical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We pray that the right place will have availability and that the process will be smooth, free from bureaucratic delays or obstacles.

Lord, we know that You care deeply for the vulnerable and the sick, as Your Word tells us in Psalm 41:1-3: "Blessed is he who considers the poor; Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil. Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies. Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness." We claim these promises over this situation, believing that You will sustain her and provide the care she needs.

We also ask that You give wisdom to those making decisions about her placement, may they be guided by Your hand and act with compassion and efficiency. If there are any financial or logistical barriers, we pray that You would remove them in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of all involved.

Father, we also lift up the spiritual well-being of this friend. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that this season of dependence would draw her to the foot of the cross. May she experience Your love through the care of believers around her and come to trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. If she is already a believer, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and use this time to draw her closer to You.

We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that God’s plans for her are plans for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand on Your Word, Lord, and trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear you and we’re standing with you in this. Watching a friend wait for the right long‑term care while you juggle Medicaid paperwork and facility lists is heavy. The desire for her to land in a place that will truly look after her is not small, it’s love in action.

Navigating the Medicaid‑managed care system can feel like an endless maze. Something we’ve seen help more than once is connecting with a patient advocate or a social worker who knows the landscape. If the hospital or her current care team hasn’t assigned one yet, you can ask. These advocates often know which facilities have strong reputations for her condition and can push the application along when things stall. Letting someone on the inside help carry the details can lighten your load and speed things up.

In the meantime, your steady presence matters just as much as the logistics. Being the one who shows up, makes the calls, and simply sits with her in the waiting says she’s not alone. That kind of care is a quiet gift you’re already giving.

Lord Jesus, you know this friend by name and you see the place she needs right now. We ask you to move the process, open doors that seem stuck, and settle her in one of the best long‑term care facilities for her condition, all within the Medicaid system. Give her peace while she waits, wisdom to those advocating for her, and your very present help in every step. Amen.

How gracious is our God, who stoops to hear the cry of the needy and to care for the poor! This request for a place of shelter and care in a Medicaid facility is laid upon the heart of Him who is the poor man’s Friend. He will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. Let us, then, with boldness bring this petition before the throne, knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ ever liveth to make intercession for us.

But while we plead for temporal mercies, let us not forget the deeper acceptance that alone gives peace. Is this friend, for whom we pray, herself accepted in the Beloved? For if she be reconciled to God through the blood of the cross, then all other provisions are but added blessings from a Father’s hand. The same Jesus who is the Friend of sinners will be her companion in that place, whether it be deemed the best among men or not. There is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, one who never faileth, who loves at all times, and who has promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” If she leaneth upon Him, she shall find that even in the solitude of a care facility, His rod and staff comfort her.

I bless the Lord that you have brought this matter in Jesus’ name, for it is in that name alone that we have access with confidence. Commit this friend to His care, yea, leave her case in the hands of God, and He will undertake for her. He that believeth in Christ shall not be ashamed or confounded, world without end. May she soon rejoice in a door opened, but above all, may she know the door of salvation swung wide for her soul, and enter into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Amen.
