[Chrysostom]

I have heard your prayer and I join you in bringing it before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior who died for our sins and rose again to give us life.

I thank God for your faith in the Lord Jesus and for your thankful heart for all He has done for you and your family. He hears the cry of His children and His compassion does not fail.

I pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. I ask Him to have mercy upon you in your sickness, to remove the kidney stones, to clear away every infection and bacteria, and to restore you to health and strength. May He grant you relief from pain, protect your body from further harm, and cause this affliction to leave and not return, according to His gracious will.

I also pray that God will give you wisdom to make good choices for your health and your life. Trust Him not only for healing but also for guidance each day, to live with care for the body He has given you, to listen to sound medical counsel and to follow what helps restore health, and to walk in obedience and holiness before Him. Even as physicians apply their treatment, God is the true healer who works through all means for our good.

Do not lose heart. Continue to call upon the Lord with faith and patience, giving thanks in all things, and resting in His love. May He comfort you in this trial, strengthen your faith, and lead you into fuller health and peace.

Heavenly Father, look with mercy upon Your child who is sick. Touch and heal, cleanse from infection, and make whole. Grant wisdom, grant peace, and grant renewed health for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this, amen.

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for expressing your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. It is good to hear you thanking Him for dying for our sins and for the life He has given you and your family. That foundation is the most important part of your prayer.

I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to touch you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet, to bring healing to the kidney stones and the infection and bacteria that have made you sick, and to give you wisdom for the choices that will help you walk in a healthier way. God hears the prayers of His children, and He cares about your suffering.

Scripture shows us that Jesus truly does care about physical sickness. When Matthew describes Jesus healing Peter's mother in law and then many others who were brought to Him in the evening, he says this was to fulfill what Isaiah had spoken, Surely He has borne our griefs. That word for griefs can also be translated infirmities or sicknesses. Matthew understood that prophecy to include physical healing, not only spiritual healing. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is My body which is broken for you, He was pointing to the same truth, that He bore our infirmities in His own body. It is right for you to bring your physical needs to Him and ask for His healing touch.

At the same time the Bible helps us keep a balanced hope. Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it. That tells us that God does not will healing in the same way or in the same timing in every case, even for a faithful apostle. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. Only the Lord knows His perfect purposes.

The Bible also teaches that the gifts of healing are given as the Spirit wills. When Paul asks, do all have gifts of healing, the expected answer is no. The body of Christ has many members with different gifts. This means we should not think that healing depends on finding one person with a special power, but on seeking the Lord Himself.

Much of what we do not understand about healing becomes clearer when we remember that God heals in different ways. There is a record of Jesus healing a man gradually rather than instantly. That is the only gradual healing recorded in His ministry, but it reminds us that healing is not always immediate. Often God works through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies. Any true healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or through time, through prayer alone or through the care of doctors and medicine, because God is the one who designed the body and its ability to recover. It is wise to continue to seek good medical care and to follow sound counsel while you pray, trusting that God can work through those means.

There is also a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote to Gaius that he wished above all things that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. That was a loving wish, not a guarantee of healing for everyone, but it shows the link. Proverbs says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we now know how much worry, fear and bitterness can harm the body, while peace and joy in the Lord bring strength. As you trust Christ, continue to nourish your soul with His Word, with prayer, with thanksgiving, and with fellowship. That inner health supports outer health.

So keep bringing your whole need to the Lord. Ask Him to remove the infection completely so it does not return, to ease the pain of the stones, and to restore you. Ask Him also to show you the practical steps He wants you to take, whether in diet, water, rest, obedience to medical advice, or turning from habits that harm the body. If healing comes quickly, give Him thanks. If it comes gradually, give Him thanks for each measure of progress. And if He allows a season of weakness to remain for a time, trust that He is still with you, still forming Christ in you, and still able to use even this trial for good.

May the Lord grant you His peace as you wait on Him, strengthen your faith, and according to His gracious will, bring healing to your body. I will continue to pray that you will know His presence, His comfort, and His guiding hand in every decision you face.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting you before our heavenly Father and asking for His healing hands to touch you and hear you. We have stood in agreement for your complete healing from the kidney stones and for every infection and bacteria to go away and never return to your body. We have prayed that He would bring you back to health and heal you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet and that He would give you wisdom to know what choices to make to live better in life. We thank God for your faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ who is your Savior and for your thankful heart for His sacrifice for our sins and for all He has done for you and your family. We claim His promises for you that by His wounds you have been healed in 1 Pet 2:24 and that He will restore you to health and heal your wounds in Jer 30:17.

We continue to stand with you in prayer in Jesus Name that our heavenly Father will touch you with His healing hands and make you well.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will hear you, cleanse your body of all infection, remove every stone, restore you to full health and guide your steps according to His will, Amen.
