Your prayer has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with a heavy heart for what you are carrying. To be sick again and again, to see a high white count and infections that will not leave, to go in and out of the hospital while two children depend on you, is a great burden. It is understandable that you feel overwhelmed, emotional and stressed, and God sees all of it.

Scripture shows us that God is the true physician, and He often works through the hands of earthly physicians as well. Do not be afraid to keep seeking good medical care and to follow the wisdom of doctors, for Christ is the Master who speaks through those who seek your health. At the same time keep seeking Him in prayer with persistence. Even when healing does not come at once, prayer is like medicine applied again and again, and God is able to restore strength even when we have come very low. He is not distant from your suffering but near to you in it, and He gives grace not only to forgive and save through Jesus Christ alone, but to sustain you day by day.

I have prayed for you, and I will continue to pray. I asked the Lord to lay His healing hand upon you, to bring down the infection and to bring your body back to health if it is His will, to give skill and clarity to the doctors who care for you, and to give you wisdom for every choice you must make about treatment and rest. I prayed that He would calm your heart and lift the weight of fear and stress, that He would guard you by the blood of Jesus shed for your salvation and give you assurance that you are held in His love, and that He would give you strength for your children and provide help for you as you care for them.

Cast your cares on Him each day, and let others in the church help you bear this burden as well. Keep trusting in Jesus, keep asking, and keep thanking Him even in hardship, for He hears and He will answer according to His perfect mercy. May the Lord grant you peace that passes understanding, renewed health, and the clear knowledge that everything rests in His hands. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, amen.

Your honest and heartfelt prayer has been heard and I have been lifting you up before the Lord. I hear how weary you are, dealing with a high white count and repeated infections and hospital visits, while carrying the weight of caring for your two children who depend on you. It is completely understandable that you feel overwhelmed, emotional and stressed, and God sees all of that.

I want you to know that your faith in Jesus to heal is precious to Him. Scripture shows us that Jesus cares about the sick. When great crowds were brought to Him at Peter's house in the evening, He healed many who were sick and oppressed. Matthew tells us this was in fulfillment of what Isaiah had spoken, that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Isaiah 53 says He bore our griefs and sicknesses as well as our sins. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body which is broken for you, He was showing that His suffering was for our whole need, spiritual and physical. Healing is not just an idea about forgiveness, it includes our bodies. I believe God still heals today and that He is able to heal you. I am praying for His healing hand upon you.

At the same time the Bible helps us keep a balanced trust. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for what he called a thorn in the flesh, and God did not remove it in the way Paul asked, but gave him grace and strength to endure. This shows us we cannot presume that God wills instant healing in every case in the way we expect. There is much about healing we do not understand, why some are healed quickly and others gradually, and why some must walk a longer road. What we can hold to is that God is good, He hears every prayer, and He will do what is right and loving according to His perfect wisdom.

Healing also comes in many forms. Much healing is gradual, and that gradual process is no less from God. He created our bodies with processes to fight infection and to recover, and He often works through the wisdom He gives to doctors, through medicine, and through care. That work is divine because God is the one who made our bodies and the natural means of restoration. He also brings healing to our minds and hearts. There is a close connection between the health of our inner life and the health of our body. Scripture says a joyful heart is good like medicine, and we now know how true that is. Stress, fear and sorrow can wear the body down, while peace and hope help it. The Lord wants to heal you not only physically but also in your emotions and spirit, calming fear and lifting the burden you carry.

As you ask God to show you what choices to make, here are some ways to walk in wisdom while you trust Him. Continue to follow the care of your doctors closely and do not hesitate to go to the hospital when you need to. Good hygiene and cleanliness, rest, nourishing food and water, and taking prescribed treatment faithfully are simple but important ways to protect your health and help stop infection. Share your burden with trusted family or friends or others in your church who can help you with your children and daily needs so you are not carrying this alone. Bring your worries to Jesus often in prayer, rest in His promises, and let His word feed your soul. If you take communion, remember with thanksgiving that His body was broken for you.

Be careful not to chase after loud or showy promises of healing that stir up emotion but lack truth. God does not need hype or frenzy to work. His power is quiet, real and holy, and He works for His glory, not for display or for money.

Let me pray for you now. Father in heaven, I lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our Savior. You see her sickness, the infection and the high white count, the trips to the hospital, the exhaustion and stress as she cares for her children. Lay Your healing hand upon her. Work in her body to drive out infection and restore strength and health, whether quickly or gradually through the means You have provided. Give wisdom to her doctors and wisdom to her in every decision. Heal her mind and heart as well, quiet her fears, lift her overwhelm, and fill her with Your peace that passes understanding. Cover her with the blood of Jesus, remind her that she is not alone, and that You are with her and will sustain her and her children. Let her know in a deep way that You hear her, You love her, and You will carry her through. In Jesus name, amen.

Keep looking to Jesus. He has power over the physical and the spiritual, He bore your sicknesses and your sins, and He will not leave you. Keep praying, keep following medical counsel, and keep letting others help you. You are seen and loved, and God will give you grace for each day.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you before the Lord and asking for His healing hands to touch your body, to bring your white count down, to cause these infections to be gone and to keep you from having to go to the hospital again. We have also been praying for guidance for you as you seek to know what choices to make for your health, and for peace for your heart as you shared that you feel overwhelmed, emotional and stressed while caring for your two children who rely on you. We have asked for the blood of Jesus to cover you and to let you know that everything is going to be okay in Him.

We have been claiming Jer 30:17 that He will restore you to health and heal you, and Phil 4:7 that the peace of God will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
