We hear your pain and anger, and we want to address this with truth, love, and the authority of Scripture. First, we must rebuke the spirit of hatred and vengeance in this request. The Bible is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, and we are called to love even our enemies, not to pray for their destruction.

Romans 12:19-21 (WEB) says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore, ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Praying for harm to come upon others, regardless of their actions, is not aligned with God’s will. Instead, we should pray for justice, repentance, and God’s intervention in the situation. We also must ensure that our prayers do not involve bitterness or a desire for retaliation, as these things grieve the Holy Spirit.

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in Him, and invite Him to be Lord of your life.

Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine justice and mercy. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of hatred, bitterness, or vengeance in this request, and we ask that You replace it with Your peace and love. Father, we pray for those who have caused harm, grant them repentance and a turning away from their ways. Protect this family, especially the children, from any further harm or influence from these conflicts. Surround them with Your angels and fill their hearts with Your peace.

Lord, we ask that You bring clarity, wisdom, and resolution to this situation. Help this individual to release their anger and trust in Your perfect justice. May Your will be done in every aspect of this matter. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and we stand on Your promise that You will fight for them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to release this burden to God and trust in His timing and justice. Instead of focusing on retaliation, seek God’s guidance on how to move forward in love and wisdom. If there are legal or protective measures that need to be taken for the safety of you and your children, we urge you to seek godly counsel and take appropriate action.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Surrender this situation to Him, and He will guide you. If you are not already connected to a local church or a community of believers, we strongly encourage you to seek one out for support and prayer. You do not have to walk through this alone.

We can feel the frustration and fear in your words, and especially the fierce protectiveness you have for your kids. That love for them is a good thing, and God cares deeply about their safety too. But when we carry a desire for harm against others, even those who’ve hurt us, the weight of it can end up hurting us more than anyone else. It eats away at peace, keeps us stuck in anger, and pulls us away from the healing God wants to give.

You don’t have to pretend the pain isn’t real. But instead of asking God to harm people, try bringing the raw truth to Him: how scared you are for your children, how betrayed or unjustly treated you feel. Let Him know the specific fears and ask Him to be the protector He promises to be. He sees every wrong, and He can be trusted to make things right without us needing to pray for revenge. That shift doesn’t let others off the hook, it just sets your own heart free from the bitterness that can consume it.

We’re praying with you now: Jesus, please surround this parent and their children with Your safety. You know the threats they face and the anger burning inside. Quiet that inner storm with Your presence. Give them the courage to release vengeance into Your hands and receive instead Your peace that guards their heart and mind. Guide them with wise steps forward, and protect those kids from any harm. Amen.

A prayer of cursing upon whole peoples! Stop, I implore you, and examine your heart before the Lord. Do you not know what spirit you are of? The Son of Man came not to destroy men’s lives but to save them. When James and John would have called fire from heaven upon the Samaritans, He rebuked them sharp. How much more does He rebuke you, who would invoke divine execution upon Koreans and all who companion with them? This is not the language of a child of God, but of one who has forgotten that he himself lives only by mercy.

Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. His Word declares, “The day of vengeance is in mine heart.” It is a solemn and terrible day, fixed by the Almighty for His enemies, for those who finally reject His Gospel. But what has He commanded you? “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.” If wrong has been done to you and your children, the throne of grace is open for you to seek justice and protection, but not with a heart seething with murderous malice. How can you ask God to spare your own little ones while you demand the destruction of others? Does not the same Father pity all His creatures?

You speak of being “tried up set”, I cannot understand all your words, but I see the poison of bitterness in your soul. Such hatred is itself a greater enemy to you than any Korean could ever be. It will eat out your peace, harden your heart, and, if unrepented, seal your own doom. Are you any worthier of hell than those you curse? Remember, “He will not at all acquit the wicked.” If Justice should mark iniquities, who could stand? Not you, not I. But oh, what good news is this, that Justice has been satisfied in the death of Christ! At the cross, acceptance and vengeance kissed each other. Jesus bore the execution that sinners deserve. There is more glory of vengeance in Gethsemane and Golgotha than in all the depths of hell, and it is a vengeance that spells mercy for every soul that flees to it.

Put away this wicked prayer. Confess it as sin; for how can you ask forgiveness of your own trespasses while you refuse it to others? The Lord is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. If we, being evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, shall He not forgive? Trust your dear children into His hands, He is able to keep them from falling. But as for your enemies, bring them to the cross in your prayers. How much better to plead, “Father, forgive them; open their eyes; lead them to Jesus,” than to call for their blood! This is the life of the cross in us, self-denial, love for the unlovely, blessing for cursing. If any professing Christian should cry for vengeance on a whole race, I tremble lest he prove himself an enemy of that very cross.

Come, I charge you, and bathe your fevered spirit in the fountain opened for sin. Let the Lord teach you to walk as He walked, to forgive as you have been forgiven. Then even those who mean it for evil shall be, in God’s strange providence, your best friends, and your own soul shall be kept in perfect peace. So may the blessed Spirit turn your curse into a benediction, for Jesus Christ’s sake.

You ask God to execute people, and you speak of races and your children in the same breath. What you call prayer is no prayer at all. It is a demand for massacre, and it carries the very spirit of Herod when he was mocked by the wise men. He was exceeding wroth, though it was a case not for anger, but for fear and awe. Yet when a soul is insensible and incurable, it yields to none of the medicines given by God. Driven wild by this anger and envy, as by some demon, he vents his rage upon children who had done no wrong. Look closely at your own words. You have named your children, and you have named wrath. You ask God to become the executioner of your vengeance, yet you insist He leave your own offspring out of it. This is the logic of a soul in frenzy. The passion of anger was set in us for a purpose, to chastise the evil and correct those who walk disorderly, not to become the evil ourselves. We provoked God to wrath, and we were children of wrath even as others, doing things worthy of wrath. How then can you, who are yourself a debtor to divine mercy, demand a bill of slaughter against others while claiming exemption for your own house?

Do not tell me they tried to upset you. Consider Joseph. His circumstances deserved not tears, but anger and great retribution. He had his enemies in his hands, those fratricides, and no one would have called it injustice. Yet he would not overturn his good report by the remembrance of wrongs. He wept that they ever treated him so. You, however, seek to baptize your rage with a petition, making God the minister of your fury. Do you not know what He has set in place? He has bound us with a twofold constraint, by the chastisement here and the punishment hereafter, so that fearing the judgment to proceed from God, a man may become gentle. But you have turned the courts upside down. You leap past every tribunal of patience and demand the final sentence at once, but only upon your enemies.

If you say you pray and there is no result, the result you seek is blood. The prayer that moves God is of another kind altogether. Pray like the Syrophoenician woman, the widow who continually troubles the judge, the son who consumed his father’s goods. Though God has been provoked to anger, He is fond of His children, and one thing only He seeks: to see you repenting and entreating Him. But this fire seeks a beginning, and if you offer a little spark of mercy, you kindle a full flame of beneficence. Instead, you bring a torch to burn your neighbors and expect God to fan the flame while sheltering your kids. The end of those things is death. What wages do you expect from the reality of such hatred, when even the bare recollection of shameful deeds makes a man blush? Leave your children out of it? You are immersing them in the very lesson of wrath when you should be claiming for them even a little of your leisure to learn what relates to God. Stop this. Repent of this prayer, and pray instead for your enemies, lest you find yourself cast out and bound in Heaven for the hardness of a heart that demanded executions and called it devotion.

The pain you are carrying is heavy, and it has poured out in words that show just how deeply you feel wronged. When someone comes against you and you fear for your children, the instinct to cry out for justice is powerful. You are not the first to pray this kind of prayer. The psalmists often laid out their raw anger before God, calling on him to deal with their enemies. There is no use pretending otherwise before the Lord. He already knows the fury in your heart.

The danger comes when that desire for vengeance settles in and takes root as our own mission. The Scriptures are clear. Vengeance belongs to God, not to us. He will repay. It is his work, in his time, and in his way. When we try to take vengeance ourselves, we step into a place only God can occupy without sin. Your prayer asks God to execute judgment. Now the hard work begins: leaving that execution with him. Even if you see no justice today, his day of reckoning is not canceled, only delayed. He has not forgotten. The enemies of the Lord will perish, but he alone determines the hour.

Meanwhile, you brought up your children, and that is exactly where your deepest attention must turn. Lift up your hands toward God for the life of your young children. They are living in a world that is ready to devour them, not only through the threats of people but through a culture that has abandoned every protection. Children can see and be exposed to evil at very early ages. It is so prevalent. Pray for them. Hold them up in prayer. Ask God not merely to keep them out of the crossfire of human conflict, but to protect their very souls from the violence and corruption that seeks to claim them. Do not let your anger at your enemies distract you from the spiritual battle for your own household.

There is a tragic pattern that repeats in Scripture. God would deliver his people, do mighty works among them, and yet the next generation would not know him. The parents failed to communicate the truth. They failed to rehearse what God had done. So the children grew up and did evil and forgot the Lord. The relationship you have with God is not automatically transferred to your kids. It must be imparted. That means in this season of conflict, your children need to see you not just angry, but humbly dependent on a God who forgives and delivers.

And that brings us to the heart of the matter. The path to real freedom is not found in the destruction of your enemies, but in the cleansing of your own heart. David said, “I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid.” Forgiveness comes when we confess. As long as we try to excuse our own wrong responses or justify our rage, we remain stuck. But the promise of God stands: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. The very anger you feel may need to be laid before him not as a righteous demand, but as a transgression for which you need his mercy.

Cry out to the Lord. Not just against your enemies, but for yourself. Cry out for deliverance from the bitterness that is trying to consume you. That is the cry God always answers. In the days of the judges, when the children of Israel were oppressed and could no longer stand before their enemies, they cried out to the Lord, and he raised up a deliverer. He is the same God now. His loving kindness has not run out. So pray for your children. Trust his justice. And ask him to give you a heart that wants his mercy even more than you want his vengeance.
