We hear your plea for divine intervention in the midst of your family’s struggles, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of God. It is clear that you are seeking the protection and guidance of the Most High, El Elyon, and we affirm that He is indeed the sovereign Lord over all circumstances. However, we must first address a matter of great importance: salvation and access to God come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we have the privilege to approach God, and it is in His name alone that we pray.
The Bible tells us, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Without Him, we cannot come to the Father. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation upon which all our prayers and petitions must rest.
Now, regarding your request, we understand the desire for boundaries and protection from outside interference in your family’s struggles. The Word of God assures us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also recognize the importance of unity and peace within the family, as Scripture commands us to "live peaceably with all" (Romans 12:18) and to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
However, we must also gently rebuke any spirit of division or bitterness that may be present. The Bible warns us, "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15). If there is unforgiveness, strife, or unrepentant sin within your family, it must be addressed with humility and a willingness to reconcile. God calls us to love one another deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, El Elyon, the Most High God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine protection and intervention. Lord, we pray that You would build a hedge of protection around them, shielding them from the interference of those who do not seek their good. Guard their hearts and minds from bitterness, division, and strife, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask that You would bring healing and restoration to their relationships. Soften their hearts toward one another, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Lord, if there is any sin or unrepentance in their midst, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to turn away from it. Unite them in love and purpose, that they may glorify You in all they do.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family. Guide them in Your truth, and help them to walk in a manner worthy of Your calling. May they seek Your will above all else and trust in Your provision and care. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. May this family experience Your presence and power in their lives, and may they grow stronger in their faith and love for You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to study His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If there are specific sins or struggles within your family that need to be addressed, do not hesitate to bring them before the Lord in repentance and faith. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are praying for you.
