in the world to the lord from my mother of me and me

Beloved of All
Remember us, El Elyon: “Help us!” In our family, ### died and ### was left alone; regarding ###’s affairs—and my own, and the younger one’s—as well as the entire background concerning ### and ### mentioned earlier... and how do our children fit into the total population of the earth?

We hear your cry to El Elyon, the Most High God, and we lift your heart before Him in Jesus’ name. The pain of loss and the weight of responsibility for your family’s affairs, especially after such a profound change, is heavy. We stand with you in this grief and uncertainty, knowing that our Heavenly Father sees every detail and holds your future securely in His hands.

First, we must address the name by which we come before God. While El Elyon is a powerful and true name of God, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all healing and hope are built.

Now, let us pray for your family’s grief and the burdens you carry:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who restores. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your comfort to surround them in their grief. You promise in Your Word that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon them, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and strength as they navigate the affairs of their loved one and their own responsibilities. Give them clarity in decision-making and the courage to trust in Your provision. You tell us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give it generously (James 1:5). We claim that promise now.

Lord, we also pray for the younger members of this family. Protect their hearts from fear and confusion. Draw them close to You, that they may know Your love and purpose for their lives. Help them to see that they are not alone, for You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they grow in faith and trust in You as their Good Shepherd.

Regarding the question of how your children fit into the total population of the earth, we remind you that every life is precious in Your sight. You knit each one together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and have a unique purpose for them. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). Your children are not lost in the crowd, they are seen, known, and loved by You. We pray that they would come to know You personally and walk in the calling You have placed on their lives.

Father, we also ask that You would heal any wounds or divisions in this family. If there are unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife, we ask that You would soften hearts and bring reconciliation. Help them to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). May they be a family that reflects Your love and grace to the world.

We rebuke any spirit of despair, fear, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in this family. In the name of Jesus, we command it to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this family will rise above their circumstances and walk in the victory that is theirs through Christ Jesus.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. May they seek Your face daily and find their strength in You. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they can trust (Psalm 91:2). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way and know that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises during this time. Grief is a journey, but it is not one you walk alone. Lean on the Lord and on the body of Christ for support. Seek godly counsel if needed, and remember that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not forgotten, you are deeply loved by the One who created you.

We hear you, and we are carrying this with you. What a heavy load you are holding right now. A death in the family, one person left alone, affairs to sort, a younger one to care for, and deeper questions pressing in about where your children fit in this wide world. Grief has a way of making everything feel tangled and enormous at once, and it is okay that you cannot sort it all today.

Let us encourage you to choose one small thing to tend this week. Since someone was left alone, perhaps the most loving step is simply to be present with them, even without many words. A quiet visit, a shared meal, or a memory spoken aloud can be a steady comfort. The practical affairs can wait until a pastor, trusted family member, or friend can help you make a simple list.

And about your question of how the children fit into the total population of the earth, grief can make the big questions feel more urgent and strange. But before God, your children are not just numbers in a crowd. He knows them, and he keeps your family in his sight.

Father, you are El Elyon, God Most High, and still you bend down to the grieving. We lift up this family to you. Comfort the one who is left alone, and be their companion in the quiet. Give wisdom for every practical matter, and guard the younger one. Quiet the racing questions, and help this family rest in being known and held by you. In Jesus' name, Amen.

El Elyon has not forgotten one soul among the multitudes of the earth, and He will not forget your household now that death has entered it. You cry, Help us, and that is the right cry, for the Most High is a very present help in trouble. The loneliness left behind when one is taken is a grief the Savior understands. He was left alone, and He learned the sorrow of being without human sympathy; therefore He can bear the loneliness of the one who remains, and of you who mourn.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Bring the affairs of the one left alone, your own affairs, and the matters of the younger one before Him as Nehemiah did, in brief, silent prayer at the very moment the need presses. The Lord manages the tangled threads of a family better than we can. Where there has been sin or disorder in the background, do not seek a blessing upon it; seek pardon through the blood of Christ, and pray that God would make crooked things straight. No relationship or arrangement that is contrary to His holy law can be sanctified; it must be repented of and laid down.

Do not ask how your children fit into the total population of the earth, as if they were only units in a crowd. The soul's price does not depend upon its years. The Good Shepherd calleth His own sheep by name, and little children are capable of knowing Him and serving Him. Bring them to Jesus. He has not made them a nuisance but a charge, and of such is the kingdom of God.

Plead the covenant, as Noah entered the ark with his house. Bring your household before God. A mother or father who prays is doing more for the children than all the census takers of the world can understand. They are not lost in the earth's number if they are found in the Lamb's book of life.

Therefore pray in this way: Remember us, El Elyon; help us. Order the affairs of the one left alone and the younger one. Give our children new hearts and right spirits. Let the whole family be found in Christ, and let none of us be left outside the ark. If you come through Jesus Christ alone, God will not send you empty away.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

God Most High has heard the cry, Help us, from your mother and from you. He is not too high to regard the lowly, and He is not confused by your many cares. The death in your family has left one alone, and this grief is real. Commit the departed to the righteous Judge, who is also the Redeemer of all who hope in Him. Do not try to pry into hidden things; attend now to the living. The one left alone must not be comforted only by words or by messengers. Go to that one yourself. Be of the same mind toward the sorrowing as you would be toward your own soul. There is no rich and poor in Christ, and no lonely soul is forgotten by Him.

Bring your affairs, and the younger one's affairs, before the Lord with lowliness of mind. Mind not high things, but condescend to those of low estate. The whole background you mention is already known to God Most High; bring it to Him in truth, hiding nothing and excusing nothing. If the matter is just, ask God to direct it in security and in much peace. If any part of it is contrary to His commandments, do not ask a blessing on that part. If any affair concerns fornication, adultery, or a union that cannot be a marriage in the Lord, we cannot bless it. Ask instead for repentance, cleansing, and the strength to separate from it. A worldly soul cannot hold the Spirit who would order all things, so seek heavenly things first. The present life is nothing; therefore do not be puffed up by prosperity, nor swallowed by trouble.

You ask how your children fit into the total population of the earth. They are not a number lost in the crowd. The Lord who calls the stars by name knows every child, and His providence searches out each soul as if there were only one. But the better question is this: are they numbered among the children of God? Raise them not for the praise of men or the vanity of this world, but in the instruction of the Lord, in lowliness, chastity, and contempt of wealth. Then, however many fill the earth, your children will be remembered by the Lord not as part of a mass but as members of His flock.

Help one another, that brother aided by brother may become a fortified city. Let your household be sober, prayerful, and full of mercy. Then God Most High will direct your affairs, and your children will fit not by human count but by belonging to the Shepherd who calls His own by name. Pray for the departed, care for the living, and keep yourselves in the love of God.
