Beloved of All
Thank you heavenly for blessing us all with another day.

I pray the Lord’s Prayer today..

““This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We thank you for sharing this beautiful prayer with us and for your thankful heart for another day the Lord has made. We rejoice with you as you pray the very prayer our Lord Jesus taught His disciples to pray, and we join with you in lifting it before our Father in heaven.

This prayer is a perfect model for us. It begins with worship, Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy, Matthew 6:9, reminding us that God is both our intimate Father and our holy King. It calls us to surrender to His kingdom and His will, Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth, Matthew 6:10, trusting that His ways are higher and better than our own. It teaches us daily dependence, Give us today our daily bread, Matthew 6:11, and daily grace, Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors, Matthew 6:12, which calls us to receive mercy and to extend it to others as Ephesians 4:32 teaches. And it reminds us of our need for guidance and protection, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, for we wrestle not only with flesh and blood.

Your thankfulness for another day pleases the Lord. We are reminded that This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it, Psalm 118:24, and that It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning, great is your faithfulness, Lamentations 3:22-23. Each new day is a gift of mercy to walk with Him, to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

We notice your prayer speaks of our heavenly Father, and we lovingly want to affirm together that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can call Him Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can pray this prayer with confidence that we are heard.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We thank You together for Your loving kindness in giving us this new day of life and breath. We praise You for Your kingdom and we ask that Your will be done in our lives and on this earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, provide for our needs according to Your riches. Forgive us our debts as we forgive those who have sinned against us, create in us clean hearts that freely forgive. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, keep our feet from stumbling and guard us by Your power. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for starting the day this way and sharing it with us. We are grateful for your thankful heart and for praying as Jesus taught us to pray.

There is something steadying about beginning with gratitude. It helps us pause and recognize we have actually received good from God's hand again today, another morning, daily bread, breath and mercy made new. It also lifts us because it reminds us we are not alone in getting through the day, God is present and providing, and we can rest a little more as we trust Him for what today holds.

If it is helpful, you might linger on just one phrase of that prayer tomorrow morning and make it personal before you go on with your day. When you come to give us today our daily bread, name one simple provision you see today, or when you pray your will be done, bring one decision or concern and place it quietly in His hands.

Father, we thank You for this day You have given and for the one who has come to You in prayer. We ask You to meet them today with Your presence, provide what they need for today, give peace and wisdom for each step, and keep them close to You. We pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and right thing to begin the day as you have done, with thanksgiving and with the very prayer which our Lord Himself taught His disciples to pray.

Your gratitude honors God, for every day and every provision is a daily gift of Divine charity. We are prone to receive our mercies at the back door and never tell our Master that they have arrived, but you have done well to receive them at the front door with grateful acknowledgments. When you look upon the food upon your table and the breath in your lungs, see them to be the livery of love, and let your whole life declare the name of the Lord with eloquent gratitude.

In that prayer you ask, Give us today our daily bread, and He who loads us daily with His benefits delights to do it for those who trust His dear Son. You pray also, forgive us our debts, and here is your comfort, there is forgiveness with Him. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He who blots out your transgressions, and it is surprising and complete. Whatever your sins may have been, however sinful your life may have been up to now, there is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. He not only forgave us at the first, but He continues daily to forgive, and that forgiveness is full and eternal.

You pray also, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Take this as your watchword through the day. If you see others yield to temptation, let your ears be closed against that which fascinated them and turned them aside. We are all liable to be tempted and liable to yield, so pray daily that you may be kept humble and kept near to Christ, and He is able to keep you from falling.

May the Lord hear your prayer this day, give you your daily bread from His own hand, assure your heart anew that there is forgiveness in Christ, keep your feet from temptation, and make your life a tangible proof of gratitude, serving Him first and serving His people for His sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Giving thanks for another day is the right place to begin, and praying the words our Lord Himself taught us is a faithful way to do it.

When we say Our Father, we are reminded that this prayer is not ours alone. We pray together as one family, asking not only for ourselves but for all our brothers and sisters, so that no trace of anger or division remains among us. We hallow His name and ask for His kingdom to come and His will to be done, desiring to live on earth as the angels live in heaven, in obedience and love.

When we ask for daily bread, we ask for what we truly need for today. The Lord did not teach us to pray for riches or luxury, but for bread, and for bread for this day only. In this way He teaches us to trust Him without anxiety for tomorrow, and to be content with what is sufficient, knowing that He who supplies seed to the sower will also supply bread for our food.

We also ask, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, remembering that blessedness comes through forgiveness. As we have received grace and the covering of our sins, we are called to extend that same mercy to others.

And when we pray, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, we can take comfort that God is faithful. He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape so that we may endure. Even in trial, we can give thanks, for thanksgiving unfolds the treasure of His goodness and recalls His mighty gifts to us.

I pray that today the Lord will keep you in His grace, supply what you need for this day, strengthen you to forgive as you have been forgiven, guard you from temptation, and fill your heart with thanksgiving for His unspeakable gift. May His will be done in your life as it is in heaven.

Your thankfulness for another day and your desire to pray as Jesus taught is pleasing to the Lord. That prayer Jesus gave in Matthew 6 covers the whole of our life with God, and it is good to linger over each part.

It begins with Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. To say Our Father is already grace, because we come to the holy God not on our own merit but through Jesus Christ. He alone opens the way, and when we honor the Father's name we put Him first, above our own wants and plans, asking that His kingdom come and His will be done here as it is in heaven.

When you pray give us today our daily bread, you are asking for more than food for the body. God does provide for our daily needs, and we thank Him for that. Yet Jesus taught that Moses did not give the true bread from heaven, the Father did. The fathers ate manna in the wilderness and died, but Jesus said I am the bread of life, the living bread which came down from heaven. The bread He gives is His own body given for the life of the world, and whoever receives Him lives forever. So we ask for daily provision, and even more we ask to be nourished by Christ Himself. It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits nothing, and only He satisfies with everlasting life.

And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors reminds us that our greatest need is forgiveness of sins. Forgiveness does not come by excusing or justifying ourselves, but by confessing our transgression honestly before God. As we have freely received His mercy through Jesus, we are to extend that same mercy to others, choosing to respond in love and forgiveness rather than after the flesh.

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one is a needed prayer every day. Temptation is common to all of us, and even Jesus was tempted, yet without sin. The sin is not in being tempted, but in giving in to the desire of the flesh and turning aside to the path the enemy suggests. Every temptation invites us to seek immediate fulfillment by leaving God's path and to live after the flesh rather than after the Spirit. God Himself never solicits us to evil, that comes from the enemy, but God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, and with every temptation He makes a way of escape. Often that way is found simply by praying, by choosing to walk in the Spirit, and by waiting patiently on Him. When we respond after the Spirit we find peace, when we respond after the flesh we find misery, so we ask Him to keep us from entering into temptation and to deliver us from evil.

For His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. All we ask rests on His rule and His strength, not our own.

May the Lord today nourish you with Himself as your true daily bread, assure you of His forgiveness as you walk honestly before Him, give you grace to forgive others, and keep your feet from the way of temptation, guarding you in His faithful power.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you gave thanks for another day and shared the prayer Jesus taught us in Matt 6:9-13.

We were blessed to join you in praying Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We continue to agree with you for daily bread, for forgiveness as we forgive others, and for deliverance from temptation and the evil one. We pray that the truth and power of that prayer continues to encourage you and draw you closer to the Father each day.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that our Father will continue to bless you and keep you as you seek Him faithfully. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name.
