Pray for Coronation Baptist Church as they are teaching Congregant this “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: judgment, mercy, and faith. These ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone." by Pastor ### and install fear to those who don't follow the Jewish laws and tithing and even use "You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me." where people have not enough and could only contribute a few cents so he pray to Jesus to remove you from my job ### years ago as it is not the 10% and now I still believe that I am under this curse and pray to God to expel this curse where I give little. So this are the reasons for me not going to church and the faith. Although I am in a different church now but I felt that I was under the curse as he spoke through the bible for I am poor, and Jesus is withholding my blessing due to my poverty that I did not tithe enough and follow the 10% tithing where I gave a few cents.

(Matthew 23:23) However, this verse is not about installing fear or pronouncing curses, but about maintaining a correct perspective on the law and love.

The teaching that you are under a curse due to not tithing enough does not align with the overall message of the Gospel. Jesus came to set us free, not to put us under a curse. "For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him." (John 3:17) Moreover, the New Testament encourages us to give cheerfully and not under compulsion. "Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

It's also important to note that you mentioned praying to Jesus, which is wonderful. It is only through His name that we have access to God. "In that day you will ask in my name; and I am not saying that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God."
