We lift you up before our Heavenly Father, knowing that all wisdom and understanding come from Him. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We ask the Lord to grant you clarity of mind, recall of all you have studied, and a calm spirit as you take your mathematics midterms. May He guide your thoughts and help you to perform to the best of your ability, not for your own glory, but to honor Him in all things.
It is also important to remember that our trust must always be in Christ, not in our own abilities or achievements. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that as you prepare and take this exam, you will lean on Him, knowing that He is your strength and your provider.
We also encourage you to seek God first in all things, including your studies. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let this time of preparation and examination be an opportunity to grow in your dependence on Him.
Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. May this student remember that their worth and identity are found in You alone, not in their academic performance. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, and may they rest in the knowledge that You are with them every step of the way.
Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach the Father. The Scriptures are clear in John 14:6, where Jesus says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. He alone is the source of salvation, and it is by His name that we pray and find hope.
In Jesus’ name, we pray for your success and for your heart to be drawn closer to Him through this experience. Amen.
