### when I get bored I struggle couldn’t stop going to websites to masterbation now I don’t want go work or go church I feel unhappy with my life it’s been hard this year

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with you, seeking God’s mercy and deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. What you are struggling with is not just a habit—it is a spiritual battle, one that the enemy uses to steal your joy, your purpose, and your intimacy with God. But take heart, for the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." You are not alone in this fight, and there *is* a way out.

First, we must address the sin at the root of this struggle. Masturbation and pornography are not merely "personal choices" or "harmless habits"—they are forms of sexual immorality, which Scripture condemns. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, the Word of God says, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." Pornography distorts God’s design for sexuality, which is meant to be expressed *only* within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. It enslaves the mind, hardens the heart, and grieves the Holy Spirit. We must call it what it is: sin. And sin always leads to death—not just physical, but spiritual death, which is why you feel so empty, ashamed, and disconnected from God.

But here is the good news: Jesus Christ came to set the captives free! In John 8:36, He declares, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." This freedom is not just a one-time event—it is a daily surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit. You cannot overcome this in your own strength, but through Christ, *all things are possible* (Philippians 4:13). The first step is repentance—turning away from this sin and turning *fully* to Jesus. Confess it to Him, not as a shameful secret, but as a broken child coming to a loving Father. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Lord, we lift up our brother who is bound by the chains of sexual sin. We ask that You break every stronghold of pornography and lust in his life. Cleanse his mind, his heart, and his eyes, O God, and restore to him the joy of Your salvation. Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and shame that has kept him in bondage. We declare that he is not defined by his struggles, but by the blood of Jesus, which washes him white as snow.

Lord, fill him with Your Holy Spirit and give him a hunger for Your Word. Help him to flee from temptation and to run to You instead. Surround him with godly accountability—men who will pray for him, encourage him, and hold him to the standard of Your Word. Give him the strength to resist the enemy’s lies, which tell him he is too far gone or that he can never change. Remind him, Lord, that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5).

Father, we ask that You restore his desire for work and for fellowship with Your people. Let him experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You. May he find his identity in Christ alone, not in his failures or his past. We pray for healing in his emotions—replace his unhappiness with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). And Lord, if it is Your will, prepare him for a godly marriage, where he can honor You with his body and his heart.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Now, dear brother, here is what you must do to walk in freedom:

1. **Cut off the source.** If you have not already, install accountability software on your devices (like Covenant Eyes or EverAccountable) and give the password to a trusted, godly brother in Christ. Delete all bookmarks, history, and apps that lead you into temptation. "If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you" (Matthew 5:29). This is not about legalism—it is about survival.

2. **Fill your mind with truth.** When boredom or temptation comes, do not turn to sin—turn to Scripture. Memorize verses like Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me," or Romans 12:2, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Listen to worship music, Christian podcasts, or sermons that build you up in faith.

3. **Get into community.** Isolation is the enemy’s playground. You *need* to be in church, not just on Sundays, but in a small group or men’s ministry where you can be honest about your struggles. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." Find a mature Christian man who can mentor you and pray with you regularly.

4. **Replace the habit.** When you feel the urge to turn to pornography or masturbation, redirect that energy into something productive—prayer, exercise, serving others, or even just calling a friend. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." You are not just fighting against sin—you are fighting *for* a life filled with the Holy Spirit.

5. **Flee sexual immorality.** 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your body is not your own—it belongs to God. Honor Him with it.

6. **Seek professional help if needed.** If this addiction feels too overwhelming to overcome on your own, do not hesitate to seek biblical counseling or a Christian therapist who can help you work through the deeper issues (shame, trauma, loneliness, etc.) that may be fueling this struggle.

Remember, this is a battle, but it is one you *can* win with Christ. The enemy wants you to believe that you are powerless, but the truth is, you are a child of the Most High God, and "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Every time you choose obedience over sin, you are loosening the enemy’s grip on your life. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Lastly, if you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. This struggle is a symptom of a deeper need—for a Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not about being "good enough"—it is about admitting you are a sinner in need of a Savior and placing your trust in Jesus’ death and resurrection for your forgiveness. If you have never done this, pray this prayer with us:

"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I have lived for myself and not for You. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn away from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. Be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. In Your name, I pray. Amen."

If you prayed that prayer for the first time, we rejoice with you! Now, get connected with a Bible-believing church and start reading the Gospel of John. Your new life in Christ has begun, and we are excited to see how God will transform you from glory to glory. Keep fighting the good fight, brother. You are not alone. We are praying for you.

We're here for you, brother. We know this is a tough battle, but remember, you're not alone. We're fighting alongside you, and we believe in the power of Jesus to set you free.

First, let's acknowledge the sin at hand. Pornography and masturbation are not harmless habits; they're forms of sexual immorality that grieve God's heart and enslave our minds. But here's the good news: Jesus came to set captives free, and that includes you!

Here's what we want you to do:

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Did you know there are deliverance videos online as well as on YouTube for or against pornography?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your struggle to the Lord these past days. Every time boredom or loneliness has tried to pull you toward those old habits, we’ve prayed for God’s strength to rise up within you—strength that is greater than any temptation. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to fill the empty spaces in your heart with His peace, so you wouldn’t feel the need to turn to those websites for comfort. And when shame made you want to hide from work or church, we’ve prayed for courage to step out anyway, trusting that God’s love for you isn’t based on your performance but on His grace.

If you’ve found even a moment of victory—whether it was a day without giving in, a renewed desire to go to church, or just a flicker of hope in your heart—we’d love to celebrate that with you. Please share it with us so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If the battle still feels overwhelming, don’t hesitate to post your request again. We’re not going anywhere. We’ll keep standing with you, praying for breakthrough, and believing that God is at work even when it’s hard to see.

Above all, we pray that you’d feel the Father’s arms around you, reminding you that you are not defined by this struggle. You are His beloved child, and He is walking with you every step of the way. Keep seeking Him, keep fighting the good fight, and know that we’re fighting right alongside you.

In Jesus’ Name, we pray.
