We join with you in lifting up your marriage before the Lord and we agree with you for peace, harmony and stability in your home. We praise God that you have brought this need in the powerful name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank God that you desire a marriage that honors Him, for marriage is holy and ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Mark 10:9.

We stand with you against every force that seeks to divide what God has joined. The scriptures tell us to be humble and gentle, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, Ephesians 4:2-3. We also hear your burden concerning other women, soul ties, unfaithfulness and temptation and we must speak clearly in love about this. Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4. Any sexual connection outside of the marriage covenant is fornication or adultery and is sin before God. It creates ungodly soul ties and brings strife and division into the home. The Word says flee sexual immorality, Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, 1 Corinthians 6:18. If there has been unfaithfulness, wandering of the heart or eyes, or lingering remnants of past relationships, we urge repentance and full forsaking of it. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9. We encourage both husband and wife to commit anew to purity, to rejoice in the wife of your youth, Proverbs 5:18, and for husbands to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:25, and wives to respect and honor their husbands, Ephesians 5:33.

We also address your concern about generational curses, spoken words and ill will from others. In Christ we have been made new and Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, Galatians 3:13. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper when you abide in Him, and we are called to bless those who persecute you, bless, and do not curse, Romans 12:14, and to love your enemies and pray for those who mistreat you, Matthew 5:44. We break agreement with strife, hardness of heart and bitter words and we choose forgiveness and peace.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this marriage to You. We ask You to be the foundation of this home, for unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it, Psalm 127:1. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Let Your peace rule in their hearts, Colossians 3:15. We ask You to destroy and remove division, strife, hardship and every disconnect between husband and wife. Where there has been temptation or unfaithfulness or any ungodly tie to another person, we ask for conviction, repentance, cleansing by the blood of Jesus and a complete breaking of those ties. Create clean hearts and renew steadfast spirits within them. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us and to put on love, which is the bond of perfection, Colossians 3:14. Guard their marriage from the enemy and from those who would speak or act with ill will, and help them to respond with grace and truth. Let no temptation overtake them except what is common to humanity, and provide the way of escape that they may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13. Restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and knit their hearts together in unity, that they may dwell together according to knowledge and as joint heirs of the grace of life, 1 Peter 3:7. We also lift up every person who is seeking resurrection and restoration in their marriage and we ask You to move mightily in each home according to Your perfect will and timing. We claim victory not by our own power but through Christ who loves us. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We hear your heart for peace and stability in your marriage, and we are grateful you brought this before the Lord so honestly. Wanting unity and faithfulness and a home free from strife is a good and right desire, and we join you in asking God to guard what He has joined together.

When division and hurt have built up, it often helps to look at how you and your husband are connecting day to day. Much of what we communicate comes through tone, expression and body language, not just words, and learning to notice those cues and to share feelings clearly and kindly can slowly rebuild trust. It is not a quick fix but a steady process of choosing honesty over blame and listening to understand.

One practical place to start, if it feels safe to do so, is to set aside a brief, uninterrupted time this week when you are both calm to each share one concern and one hope for your marriage, taking turns to listen and repeat back what you heard before responding. If strife or past hurts feel too heavy to navigate alone, inviting a trusted pastor or counselor to walk with you both can bring steady support.

Father, we lift this marriage to You. Bring Your peace into this home, soften hearts, guard against temptation and division, and give wisdom and patience for each next step. Lead them toward healing and deeper connection in Your will. In Jesus name, amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your longing for peace and stability within your marriage is heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone can give true peace.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in mere circumstances, but in Christ Himself. As we have often said, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and it is there, with your mind stayed upon Him and your trust fixed upon His finished work, that you may know peace even when sorrows surge around you. He Himself has said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, but believe also in Him.

We pray with you that the Lord would guard your covenant as He has ordained marriage to be, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and keep you both faithful within it. We ask that He would deliver you from the Evil One and from every temptation that would draw the heart away, for temptation in itself is dangerous and perilous, and it is right for the Christian to pray, Lead us not into temptation. Remember that our Lord outruns the enemy with His intercessions, for He prayed for Peter before Satan desired to sift him as wheat, and His faithfulness is wider and broader than our unfaithfulness. Whatever unfaithfulness, division, strife, or ill will has wounded your union, His love can travel beyond it to restore and to heal.

We pray also that you would not go into temptation, but would turn from every path that leads toward it, and that you would bear your sorrow with Christ, that you may enjoy that rest which is found in doing the will of Jesus. If there has been sin, look to that look of Christ which severed Peter from the crowd and brought him to repentance, for there is no good in wandering from Jesus, but there is such peace, such rest with Him upon restoration. He is able to make you better Christians afterwards, and to give you glory begun below in the perfect peace and rest He gives to the heart.

We do not claim power to command an immediate answer according to our own will, but we trust the faithful One who hears according to His perfect wisdom and timing. We ask that He would cleanse what is past by the blood of atonement, break the power of sinful patterns that have been handed down, and establish you in holiness, truth and faithful love toward one another. May He bless His people with peace, a peace that is not false, but a blessing that brings no sorrow with it, peace from lips that cannot lie and through blood which has made full atonement.

We join your prayer also for all others who seek restoration, that they too would find it at the feet of the Prince of Peace, and know the peace of God which passes all understanding.

O Lord, keep this husband and wife in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on Thee. Guard their marriage in purity and faithfulness, deliver them from temptation, heal division, and let Thy peace rule in their home, for Jesus sake. Amen.
