Marriage

I have been married to the love of my life for ### years. He recently told me that he loved me but wasn't in love with me. This is killing me. Please keep me in your prayers. I want to stay with my husband and hope and pray every day that things will change. I love him with all my heart and don't want to lose him. He has a drinking problem. Please pray that he can stop drinking and that we can fix our marriage. Again I love him with all my heart.

Heavenly Father, I lift this marriage up to You - knowing fully that you know the people and circumstances involved. We know that what You bring together - no one should come between - and I ask that You would cast away any evil that is seeking to destroy this union. May you draw this husband back to his wife and unveil his eyes. May he turn from alcohol and cling to You and his wife. May this woman feel Your peace, Lord, and feel Your strength and embrace as she waits for You to work this out for her ultimate good and Your glory. Thank You for being in control when our lives feel out of control. I thank You for hearing our prayers!

Father God I ask that You would help this husband to see what his words is doing to his wife and the hurt it is causing her. Father I ask that you would convict him and help him to realize what his words are doing. I ask that You would draw him to You through Your mighty Holy Spirit and our precious Savior Jesus Christ. Help him to see that when You love someone it is for keeps, and not a bunch of twisting words. Father I ask these things of You right now. In the holy name of Jesus. amen.

Lord we come together in prayer for our sisters' marriage. Please hold them in your arms and breathe life and love back into the marriage. Through you, Lord, all things are possible.
