please pray for my marriage everyday is a complete struggle i don’t know if i can hang on any longer i don’t even know what to do please pray in Jesus name

We hear the heaviness in your heart and we are standing with you in prayer for your marriage, lifting you and your spouse before the Lord together in Jesus name. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that there is hope, healing and restoration. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We know that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman for life, and He intends it to reflect the faithful love of Christ for His church. Jesus said So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart Matthew 19:6 and also What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We strongly affirm God's design for marriage and we encourage you to hold fast to that covenant even when every day feels like a struggle. God sees your weariness and your pain and He is near to the brokenhearted.

The enemy wants you to believe that giving up is the only option, but the Lord calls you to endure in love, forgiveness and grace. Love is patient and is kind, love doesn't envy, love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. We encourage you to cling to this kind of love, which is only possible as Christ works in you. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32 and Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14. Love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8.

When you feel you cannot hang on any longer, remember that God promises Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up Galatians 6:9 and We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. He will give you strength for each day as you cast your cares on Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel together, to open honest and gentle communication with your spouse, to pray together daily even if only for a few moments, to forgive quickly and to speak with kindness and respect as husbands and wives are called to love and respect one another Ephesians 5:33. If there is anger, bitterness or unconfessed sin, bring it into the light before the Lord and before each other, and allow Him to heal what is broken.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious marriage to You. You see every tear, every struggle, every moment of exhaustion and confusion. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your mercy and grace upon this husband and wife. Heal the hurt, soften the hardened places, restore communication and tenderness where there has been distance and strife. Help them to remember the vows they made before You and to honor the covenant they entered into. Give them supernatural patience, humility and strength to endure and to love as You love. Fill their home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Where there is weariness, bring renewal. Where there is hopelessness, bring Your hope. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them and to bear with one another in love. Protect this marriage from the schemes of the enemy and let no man tear apart what You have joined together. Lead them to wise, biblical counsel and surround them with believers who will support and pray for them. We trust You to work all things for good and we ask You to make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We will continue to pray for you and we urge you to keep seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer, trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. Rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer Romans 12:12.

We hear how heavy this has become for you, facing a struggle every single day and wondering how you can keep going. Not knowing what to do next is such a disorienting place to be, and we want you to know we are praying for you and your marriage.

Reaching out like this took courage. You do not have to sort everything out all at once or have all the answers today.

When the days feel tangled and exhausting, it can help to have one safe person to talk with face to face. If you have a pastor, a trusted counselor, or a mature couple you respect, would you consider reaching out to one of them this week just to share honestly how you are doing and to get support for what a next step could look like. You do not need a perfect plan, just a conversation where you are not carrying this alone. If talking together as a couple feels too hard right now, starting with support for yourself is still a meaningful step.

We are asking God to meet you in the daily weariness, to give you wisdom for today, and to bring more steadiness and care into your home. You are not forgotten.

Father, we lift this marriage to You. You see the daily struggle and the tired heart behind these words. Give wisdom, strength for each day, and trusted help close by. Lead them according to Your will and draw them nearer to Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and we have taken your burden upon our hearts to carry it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.

You say that every day is a complete struggle and you know not if you can hang on any longer, nor what to do. You are wearied in the length of your way, and well may you be, for the way of marriage is not always smooth. Yet you have done well that you have not said, There is no hope, but have turned to Him who alone can give hope. There is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Saviour of such as you. While Jesus passes by, it is still a day of hope.

Remember what marriage is in the sight of God. It is not a mere convenience, but a covenant, the result of choice on both sides, cemented by mutual love, wherein the two become one. The Lord says, I am married unto you, to show how near and how tender is the union He Himself has ordained between one man and one woman for life. Because it is His ordinance, He will not despise the cries of those who seek to honour it, though they be sorely tried.

Perhaps you feel as Peter felt when he had fallen. He was down, but he was soon up again, not by his own strength, but by a look from the Lord and by the Lord's having prayed for him. That same Lord Jesus has prayed for you, and that same look of love which severed Peter from the crowd and broke his heart into repentance is still turned toward you. If there is in your heart even this prayer, Lord, have mercy upon me, there is solid ground for hope. Faith is the root of all other graces, and if faith fails, everything fails, but if faith remains, though it be as a bruised reed, Christ will not break it.

You are called to be a prisoner of hope. The word of the Lord says, Turn you to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope. Even when you are cast into a pit wherein is no water, where all seems dry and dark, the stronghold is Christ Himself. Turn to Him anew. We are saved in hope, and hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for. But if we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Your present sorrow is seen, but the restoration, the peace, the glory begun below which grace can work in a home, these are not yet seen, and are to be waited for with patience.

Therefore hang on, not in your own strength, but in His. Go apart as Peter went out, not to brood alone, but to weep before the Lord and to seek His face. Let prayer be your continual breath. Seek also the counsel of godly and faithful brethren in your church, that you may not bear this alone. Love, patience and tender guarding of one another are the fruits of a faith that looks to Christ.

We will pray for you, and we do pray now.

O Lord our God, who hast ordained marriage and hast set forth therein a mystery of Thy love to Thy people, look in mercy upon this tried and weary one. Thou seest the struggle of every day, the heaviness of heart, the not knowing what to do. Render double unto this prisoner of hope. Restore, we beseech Thee, perfect peace and rest to this heart and to this home. Let faith not fail. Grant repentance where repentance is needed, forgiveness where forgiveness is needed, and love that cements and keeps. Lift up this soul with a look from Christ, and turn this possible hope into an actual hope through believing in Jesus Christ. Keep this covenant unbroken, and make this marriage to show forth Thy faithfulness, for Jesus sake. Amen.
