We hear your heart’s desire for God’s blessing and guidance over your relationship as you seek to build a marriage that honors Him. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect the love between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is a lifelong commitment, not to be entered into lightly, but with reverence and a shared devotion to the Lord.

First, we must emphasize that marriage is between one man and one woman, as God ordained from the beginning (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If there is any aspect of your relationship that does not align with this biblical foundation, we urge you to seek the Lord’s conviction and correction. If you are living together or engaging in intimacy outside of marriage, this is fornication, and Scripture calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Repentance and a commitment to purity are essential as you prepare for marriage.

We also encourage you to ensure that both of you are believers in Jesus Christ, for Scripture warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). A marriage built on shared faith in Christ is the strongest foundation for a blessed and lasting union.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your blessing and guidance over this relationship. Lord, You instituted marriage as a holy covenant, and we ask that You would be at the center of this union. Align their hearts with Your will, Father, and let Your Word be the foundation of their marriage. Guard them against temptation and help them to walk in purity, honoring You in all things.

We pray for wisdom as they prepare for marriage, that they would seek You first in every decision. May their love for one another grow deeper as they grow closer to You. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to divide and destroy what You have joined together. Strengthen their commitment to one another and to You, Lord, so that their marriage would be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.

Father, if there are any areas where they have strayed from Your design for marriage, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. Lead them in paths of righteousness, and help them to build a home that reflects Your love and truth. May their marriage be a light in this world, pointing others to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord together, studying His Word, and surrounding yourselves with godly counsel. Marriage is a beautiful gift, but it requires intentional effort, selflessness, and a reliance on God’s strength. May He guide you every step of the way as you prepare for this sacred covenant.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
