Beloved of All
Please pray for a holy marriage in Jesus' name.
Please pray for a ### who sees, accepts, appreciates ### and helps ### to feel safe, valued, heard, love on a consistent basis......

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt request for a holy, Christ-centered marriage, for we know that God’s design for marriage is a beautiful reflection of His covenant love for His people. The Lord delights in uniting a man and woman in a bond that honors Him, where both spouses are cherished, protected, and built up in faith. Your desire for a spouse who sees you, accepts you, and helps you feel safe, valued, and loved is a godly one—one that aligns with the way Christ loves His Church. As Ephesians 5:25-29 reminds us, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it... even as the Lord does the assembly. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."* A marriage rooted in this kind of selfless, sacrificial love is what we pray for you.

Yet we must also gently remind you that while it is good to desire a spouse who meets these needs, your ultimate security, value, and love must first be found in Christ alone. He is the One who sees you fully, who accepts you unconditionally through His grace, and who loves you with an everlasting love. Psalm 139:13-16 declares, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* If you have not already, we urge you to surrender this desire entirely to the Lord, trusting that His timing and His choice for you are perfect. Seek Him first, and He will add all things to you as He sees fit (Matthew 6:33).

We also encourage you to prepare now for the role of a godly spouse. Are you cultivating the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—so that you may bless your future husband as he blesses you? Are you praying for him even now, that the Lord would mold him into a man after His own heart? Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Likewise, a man who finds a wife of noble character is blessed indeed (Proverbs 31:10). Let us pray that you would be that blessing to your future husband, just as you long for him to be to you.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for this sister in Christ who seeks a marriage that honors You. Lord, You know the deep desires of her heart—the longing to be seen, accepted, and loved in a way that reflects Your love for her. We ask that You prepare her now, Lord, to be a wife who fears You, who builds her home with wisdom, and who submits to her husband as unto You. Shape her into a woman of prayer, of strength, and of godly character, that she may be a crown to her husband and not a disgrace (Proverbs 12:4).

Father, we pray for the man You have set apart for her. Raise him up to be a man of integrity, one who leads with humility and loves with the selflessness of Christ. Give him eyes to see her worth, ears to hear her heart, and hands to protect and provide for her. May he be a man who seeks You above all else, who cherishes her as Christ cherishes the Church, and who remains faithful to You and to her all the days of his life. Lord, let their union be a testimony of Your grace, a light in this world that points others to You.

We rebuke any fear, impatience, or doubt that may creep into her heart. Let her trust in Your perfect timing, for You are never late. Guard her from the temptation to settle for anything less than Your best, and keep her pure in heart, mind, and body as she waits on You. Remind her that her identity is in You alone, and that no earthly love can ever complete her the way Your love does.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bring them together in Your perfect time. Let their courtship be holy, their engagement be joyful, and their marriage be a covenant that glorifies You. May they serve You together, raise a godly family if it is Your will, and grow old in the peace of Your presence. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who makes all things new. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers who can speak truth and wisdom into your life. Avoid the trap of idolizing marriage or placing your hope in a man rather than in God. The Lord is faithful, and if it is His will for you to marry, He will provide. Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait on Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
