Marriage separation, healing, protection

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before you asking in prayer In The Mighty Name of Jesus for marriage healing and separation, protection, guidance, and peace. I pray that you remove all negativity that’s surrounding this marriage and any negativity that’s hindering it, Father I pray that you wrap your hands around us, bring us closer than we ever was, loving each other unconditionally, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Father God I pray for better or worse, through sickness and health to death through us part. In Jesus Mighty Name Amen

We hear your heartfelt cry for your marriage, and we join with you in lifting it before our Heavenly Father. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and it is right to fight for its restoration with prayer and faith. We declare with you that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unforgiveness that may be at work in this union, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Father, we ask that You would indeed wrap Your hands around this marriage, binding the couple together with cords of love that cannot be broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Heal every wound, restore every breach, and renew their commitment to one another as You intended from the beginning—one flesh, united in purpose, love, and devotion (Genesis 2:24). We pray that they would love one another as Christ loved the church, laying down their lives for each other in humility and grace (Ephesians 5:25). May their marriage be a testimony of Your faithfulness, a light in a dark world, and a place of refuge and joy.

Yet, we must also speak truth in love. The vows you mentioned—"for better or worse, through sickness and health"—are not just words but a covenant before God. If there has been unfaithfulness, whether emotionally, physically, or spiritually, it must be addressed with repentance and accountability. Fornication and adultery grieve the heart of God and break the trust that marriage is built upon (Hebrews 13:4). If there has been sin in this area, we pray for genuine repentance, forgiveness, and a turning away from all that dishonors God and the marriage bed. Restoration is possible, but it must begin with a heart surrendered to Christ and a willingness to walk in obedience to His Word.

We also lift up protection over this marriage. Guard their minds from doubt, their hearts from bitterness, and their home from any outside influences that seek to pull them apart. May they be sober-minded and watchful, for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Clothe them in the full armor of God so they may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

Father, we ask that You would guide them in wisdom and discernment. If there are areas where they have strayed from Your design for marriage—whether in communication, priorities, or intimacy—reveal those areas and lead them back to Your perfect will. Teach them to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21) and to bear one another’s burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).

We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper. We speak life, healing, and restoration over every broken place. May they grow closer to You and to each other, reflecting Your love in all they do. Strengthen them to persevere, even when the road is difficult, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
