Marriage Restoration

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious marriage and the life growing within you. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the God of restoration, the One who heals broken hearts and mends what has been torn apart. Your Word declares in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." Lord, we stand on this truth, believing that You desire to restore this marriage according to Your perfect will.
We pray for the anger that has taken root in this relationship. Father, Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." We ask that You would soften hearts, replace bitterness with forgiveness, and fill this home with Your peace. Help both husband and wife to communicate with love and patience, seeking reconciliation rather than division. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of strife and contention in Jesus' name, and we declare that this marriage will be a testimony of Your redeeming power.
We also lift up the anxiety and depression that have weighed so heavily on this dear sister. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we ask that You would calm her mind and fill her with Your perfect peace. Strengthen her emotionally and physically as she carries this child, and let her trust in Your promises for her and her baby. We declare that she will carry this pregnancy to full term, and that You will surround her with Your protection and provision.
Father, we pray for the rekindling of love in this marriage. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things." Lord, let this kind of love flow between this husband and wife. Let them see one another through Your eyes, with grace and compassion. Restore the joy and intimacy that may have been lost, and let their marriage reflect Your love for the Church.
We also want to gently address the importance of seeking You, Lord, through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If there has been any distance from Jesus in this marriage, we pray that both husband and wife would draw near to Him, for He is the foundation of all restoration. Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with godly counsel and support. Let them be encouraged by the body of Christ, and let them find strength in Your Word. We declare that this marriage will not only survive but thrive, bringing glory to Your name. May this child be a blessing and a reminder of Your faithfulness to this family.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Praying in Jesus Name. Amen.
We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your marriage, your heart, and this precious child before the Lord. We have asked Him to soften both of your hearts, to sweep away anger, and to replace anxiety and depression with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We have prayed for a renewed love, for wisdom in every conversation, and for the Lord’s gentle hand to carry this little one safely to full term.
If the Lord has already moved in ways you can see—if walls have come down, if forgiveness has begun, if peace has replaced turmoil—please share that praise with us so we can rejoice together. If the answer is still on the way, or if new struggles have arisen, we invite you to post this need again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you. We will not grow weary in praying for restoration, healing, and hope.
May the Father draw near to you, may Jesus Christ be your strength, and may the Holy Spirit fill your home with His presence. We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus.
