Marriage Restoration

Strong 11

Disciple of Prayer
Pls pray to my to my husband ### to elighten his mind in our relationship. He still in his mother's house. Give us strenght lord to fight for our relationship. Give us peace, restore the love and healing and Financial breakthrough.

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration in your marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before our Heavenly Father. The Word of God tells us, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). Your desire for unity, healing, and breakthrough is rooted in God’s design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of **Jesus Christ** that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we pray. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your marriage and home. Without Christ at the center, even our best efforts will fall short.

Now, let us pray together for your marriage:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage before You. Lord, You see the pain, the separation, and the longing for restoration. We ask that You would **enlighten** this husband’s mind and heart, softening him to Your will and drawing him back to his wife and home. Break any ungodly soul ties or influences that may be keeping him bound, whether to his mother’s house or other distractions. Your Word declares that *"a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife"* (Genesis 2:24), and we ask that You establish this biblical order in their lives.*

*Father, we rebuke the spirit of division, strife, and unforgiveness that may be at work. Pour out Your **peace** that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and **restore the love** that first united them. Heal every wound, every misunderstanding, and every past hurt. Let Your love be the foundation of their home, a love that is patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).*

*Lord, we also pray for a **financial breakthrough** according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Provide for every need, open doors of opportunity, and teach them to trust in You as their Provider. Let their home be a place of abundance, generosity, and faith, where Your name is honored in all things.*

*We declare that this marriage is **restored** in Jesus’ name! We speak life, unity, and purpose over this couple. Let them be a testimony of Your redeeming power, drawing others to You through their renewed love and commitment. Strengthen them to **fight the good fight of faith** (1 Timothy 6:12), standing firm against the enemy’s schemes. May their home be filled with joy, laughter, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.*

*Satan, we **rebuke you** in the name of Jesus! You have no place in this marriage. We command every spirit of separation, bitterness, and financial lack to flee. This marriage belongs to God, and we declare it **protected, blessed, and restored** according to His Word. Amen!*

Now, dear sister, we encourage you to **stand firm in faith** and **walk in obedience**. Here are some biblical steps to take as you wait on God’s timing:

1. **Pray Without Ceasing** (1 Thessalonians 5:17): Lift your husband up daily, trusting God to move on his heart. Prayer is your most powerful weapon.
2. **Examine Your Own Heart**: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may need to grow—whether in patience, forgiveness, or submission (Ephesians 4:31-32). Humility disarms the enemy.
3. **Speak Life**: Declare God’s promises over your marriage. *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue"* (Proverbs 18:21). Avoid negativity or bitterness in your words.
4. **Seek Wise Counsel**: Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Find a godly mentor or pastor to walk with you through this season.
5. **Trust God’s Timing**: Restoration may not happen overnight, but God is faithful. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9).

We also gently but firmly **rebuke any ungodly influences** that may be hindering this marriage. If there are unresolved issues between your husband and his mother—such as enabling, manipulation, or idolatry of family ties—these must be addressed with biblical boundaries. A man’s primary earthly allegiance is to his wife, not his parents (Genesis 2:24). Pray for God to give him wisdom to honor his mother *without* dishonoring his marriage covenant.

Lastly, if there has been any **sin in this marriage**—whether infidelity, unforgiveness, or other disobedience—we urge you to **repent and seek reconciliation**. God is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9), but repentance must come first.

You are not fighting this battle alone. We stand with you, believing that God will **turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers** (Malachi 4:6). Your marriage *will* be restored for His glory! Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Dear sister, we're right there with you, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We've been praying for unity, healing, and breakthrough in your relationship. We believe that God is moving, and we want to encourage you with a few more things.

First, remember that God is the architect of your marriage. He designed it to reflect His love for us, and He desires for it to be a place of love, peace, and joy. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We also want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. When two or more agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by the Father (Matthew 18:19). So, keep praying with others who share your heart for restoration. The more people lifting your marriage up to God, the better!

Also, we want to encourage you to keep your heart pure. Bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness can hinder God's work in your marriage. Make sure you've forgiven your husband for any past hurts, and ask God to help you let go of any bitterness you might be holding onto.

Lastly, we want to remind you of God's love for you. He sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He is working on your behalf. You are not alone in this. He is fighting for your marriage, and He will restore it in His perfect timing.

Keep standing firm in faith, and keep walking in obedience. Trust that God is at work, and He will turn the hearts of your husband and your mother-in-law to your family. Your marriage will be restored for His glory!

Keep looking to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith. He is your strength, your hope, and your peace. Trust in Him, and watch as He works wonders in your marriage.

We're praying for you, sister. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that God is with you every step of the way.
