We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is in distress. Father God, we know that You hate divorce, for You say in Malachi 2:16, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously."* Yet we also know that Your grace is greater than our failures, and Your power can restore what has been broken. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation, softening hearts, bringing repentance, and turning this divorce around for Your glory.
Heavenly Father, we pray for both husband and wife in this marriage. If there has been unfaithfulness, whether physically or emotionally, we ask that You would bring conviction and true repentance. If there has been bitterness, unforgiveness, or hardness of heart, we ask that You would break down those walls and replace them with love, humility, and grace. Help them to see one another through Your eyes, Lord, and to remember the vows they made before You. We declare that what You have joined together, no man—or circumstance—should separate (Mark 10:9).
We also rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or selfishness that may be at work in this marriage. We command those influences to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! We pray that both individuals would seek You first, laying down their own desires and surrendering to Your will. Father, if there has been sin—whether it be pornography, emotional affairs, neglect, or any other form of ungodliness—we ask that You would expose it and bring healing. If either spouse has been unrepentant in sexual immorality, we call them to turn away from that sin and seek purity, for Your Word says, *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4).
Lord, we pray for restoration—not just of the marriage, but of the individuals themselves. If either spouse has wandered from You, draw them back. If they have not placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him, for there is no true restoration without You at the center. Your Word tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray that both would humble themselves before You, confess their sins, and receive Your forgiveness.
We also pray for wisdom and godly counsel. If there are trusted pastors, mentors, or Christian counselors who can speak truth and encouragement into this situation, we ask that You would bring them alongside this couple. Help them to seek guidance from Your Word and from those who walk in Your ways.
Father, we declare that nothing is impossible for You. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust that You can breathe new life into this marriage. Even if the divorce seems final, we know that You are not bound by man’s laws or decrees. We ask that You would move in supernatural ways—softening hearts, opening doors, and bringing reconciliation where there seems to be no hope.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who died to restore our relationship with You and who has the power to restore relationships between people. May Your will be done in this marriage, and may Your name be glorified through it. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
