We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your marriage before the throne of grace. The pain and betrayal you are experiencing are deep, and we grieve with you over the brokenness that has entered your union. The Lord sees your tears and hears the cries of your heart, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness, and we join you in pleading for its restoration.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this marriage. We rebuke the spirit of adultery that has sought to defile this union, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares that no weapon formed against a marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise today. Lord, we ask that You remove every ungodly influence from this husband’s heart—every trace of the adulteress woman, every lie that has taken root, and every deception that has blinded him to the truth. Soften his heart, Father, and draw him back to You and to his wife. Let him see the enemy’s schemes for what they are, including the manipulation of his brother, who seeks to divide what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6).
We pray that You would open his eyes to the truth, Lord. Unstop his ears so that he may hear Your voice clearly, and remove the scales from his eyes so that he may see the love and faithfulness of his wife. Your Word tells us that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this marriage will not be destroyed by the enemy’s tactics. Instead, we ask that You restore it, renew it, and make it stronger than ever before.
Father, we also ask that You reveal to this husband the true motives of his brother. Let him see the manipulation and deceit that have been at work, and give him the wisdom and courage to cut off any ungodly influence in his life. Your Word warns us not to be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good character” (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that this husband would turn away from those who seek to harm his marriage and instead surround himself with godly counsel and accountability.
We also ask for Your healing touch on this wife’s heart. Lord, she has been wounded deeply, and we pray that You would bind up her broken heart and restore her joy. Help her to forgive her husband for any wrongs he has committed, just as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13). Give her the strength to stand firm in faith, trusting that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Let her love for her husband be rooted in You, and let her actions reflect Your grace and mercy.
Father, we ask that You would rekindle the love between this husband and wife. Let them remember the vows they made before You and the love that once united them. Your Word tells us that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and we pray that their love would be a testimony to Your faithfulness. Help them to communicate with kindness and humility, to serve one another in love, and to build a marriage that honors You in every way.
We also rebuke the spirit of division that has sought to destroy this family. The enemy wants nothing more than to see this marriage crumble, but we declare that he will not succeed. We stand on Your promise that what You have joined together, no man—and no scheme of the enemy—can separate (Mark 10:9). We speak life, healing, and restoration over this marriage, and we declare that it will be a beacon of Your love and grace to all who see it.
Lord, we ask that You would bring this husband to a place of repentance. If he has strayed from Your path, draw him back with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Let him see the error of his ways and turn from every sin that has separated him from You and his wife. Give him a heart of humility and a desire to seek Your will above all else. Let him love his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), and let his actions reflect that love in tangible ways.
We also pray for this wife, that You would give her the strength to persevere. Let her trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Give her the wisdom to know how to respond in this situation, and let her actions be guided by Your Spirit. Help her to love her husband unconditionally, even when it is difficult, and to extend grace as You have extended grace to her.
Father, we ask that You would remove every obstacle standing in the way of this marriage’s restoration. Whether it is pride, unforgiveness, or the influence of others, we ask that You would break every chain and set this couple free. Let them walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You, and let their marriage be a testament to Your power to restore what has been broken.
We declare that this marriage will be restored, Lord. We speak healing over every wound, peace over every conflict, and love over every division. Let this husband and wife be united in You, and let their marriage bring glory to Your name. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
