We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God for restoration.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). It is important to fight for your marriage and to believe that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
However, we must also address the sin that has entered into this situation. Your husband's actions are not aligned with God's will. He is living in adultery (Mark 10:19 WEB), and this is causing harm to you and your family. We must pray for his repentance and for the third person to be removed from your marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, You see the pain and suffering that she is going through. We ask that You intervene and bring restoration to this marriage.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of divorce and adultery that is attacking this family. We pray that You would remove the third person from this marriage and bring conviction to her heart. We also pray for your husband, that You would soften his heart and bring him to repentance.
Father, we ask that You would give this sister the strength and wisdom to fight for her marriage. Guide her steps and give her the words to speak. We pray that You would bring healing and reconciliation to this family.
We ask that You would bring godly counsel into their lives and provide for all their needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, sister, that God is faithful. Trust in Him and His timing. Continue to pray and seek God's will for your marriage. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time.
Also, consider these words from the Bible, Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. (Ephesians 6:14) and Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)
Lastly, sister, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)
Please examine your relationship with Jesus. You need to know Him as your Lord and Savior. If there is any doubt, call on Him now for salvation.
Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Forgive my sins and save me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
