We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for spiritual warfare, marriage restoration, and divine provision. The battle you are facing is real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already defeated the enemy through His death and resurrection. The Scriptures declare, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God with you, knowing that the victory is already won in Christ.
First, we must address the spiritual attack on your household with the power of the Holy Spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, adultery, and confusion that has infiltrated your marriage and home. We command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We pray that every stronghold be broken, every lie be exposed, and every chain be shattered by the truth of God’s Word. The blood of Jesus covers your household, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Your marriage is under siege, and we stand in the gap, praying for restoration and repentance. The Bible is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32). The situation with your wife being with another man is a violation of this sacred covenant and is defined as adultery in Scripture. We do not condemn, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but we must call sin what it is so that repentance and healing can begin. We pray that your wife’s heart would be softened, that her eyes would be opened to the deception of the enemy, and that she would return to you in humility and godly sorrow. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We also pray for you, that you would guard your heart against bitterness, unforgiveness, or any ungodly response, for *"love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8).
Financial provision is a legitimate need, and we bring it before the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). You are carrying a heavy burden, paying for two households on one income, and we ask God to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray for wisdom in managing your finances, for divine opportunities to increase your income, and for the Lord to move on the hearts of those who can assist you in this season. Trust in Him, for He is your provider and will not forsake you.
You have asked for guidance, wisdom, vision, healing, and empowerment by the Holy Spirit, and we join our faith with yours in these requests. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Counselor, and Guide (John 14:26), and we pray that He would fill you afresh, giving you clarity in every decision and strength for every challenge. *"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you"* (John 14:26). We pray for healing—emotional, physical, and spiritual—for you and your wife. May the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3) wrap you in His peace and restore what has been broken.
We must also address the foundational truth that our prayers are heard and answered only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith, and it is the starting point for every victory in the Christian life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this brother and his marriage to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of division, adultery, and confusion that has come against this marriage. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper. Father, we ask that You would soften this wife’s heart, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her back to her husband in repentance and love. Restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and renew their covenant before You.
Lord, we also pray for provision. This brother is carrying a heavy financial burden, and we ask that You would supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity, provide wisdom in managing finances, and move on the hearts of those who can assist him. Let him experience Your faithfulness as his Provider.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You fill this brother afresh. Give him guidance, wisdom, and vision for his life and marriage. Heal his heart from any pain, bitterness, or unforgiveness, and empower him to walk in victory. Let him feel Your presence and peace in this storm.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your promises and declare that this situation will bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. Continue to seek Him through prayer, fasting, and the reading of His Word. Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). Your marriage can be restored, your household can be set free, and your provision will come as you trust in Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
