We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your wife are facing in your marriage. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God's will is for your marriage to be strengthened and restored.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's face and wanting your marriage to work in His name. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can be reconciled to God. Our access to God only comes through the name of Jesus Christ and none other. You are on the right track to take your difficulties to Him. We encourage both of you to continue steadfastly in prayer and honest communication with each other and with God. As it says in the Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
And to the wives in Ephesians 5:22-24 WEB
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
We rebuke any actions that may have been taken by either of you that do not align with biblical principles and we pray that God would reveal these to you so that repentance can be sought and the marriage relationship can be healed. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. James 5:16
We pray that God would give both of you the strength and wisdom to overcome the negativity that is threatening to destroy your marriage. We pray that you would both be filled with the Holy Spirit and that the love of Christ would be evident in your marriage. We pray that you would both be committed to loving and serving each other in a way that honors God and that you would both be faithful to your marriage covenant.
Let's pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come to You and lift up our brother and sister in Christ to You. Lord, we pray for their marriage, that You would strengthen it and restore it. We pray that You would give them both the strength and wisdom to overcome the negativity that is threatening to destroy their marriage. We pray that they would both be filled with the Holy Spirit and that the love of Christ would be evident in their marriage. We pray that they would both be committed to loving and serving each other in a way that honors You and that they would both be faithful to their marriage covenant. We pray for healing, and we ask for Your divine intervention to save and restore this marriage. Please give them mercy and grace to repent and keep their marriage covenant. Lord, we praise You and lift this marriage up to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
If you have not already, make sure to repent, forgive each other, and make it right with God. We encourage both of you to seek godly counsel and to surround yourselves with a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time. We believe that with God's help, your marriage can be strengthened and restored.
Keep praying and keep believing, and remember that with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 WEB
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
