We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your husband are facing, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your marriage and your financial situation. He promises in Psalm 37:25, WEB: "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Trust that He will provide for your needs.
Regarding your husband's injuries and his decision to return to work early, it's important to acknowledge his effort to provide for the family. However, it is not acceptable for him to take out his pain and frustration on you. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
His feelings of not wanting to be married anymore are concerning. Marriage is a sacred covenant, which is why we encourage both of you to seek godly counsel and remember the vows you made before God. Malachi 2:16 WEB says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence!"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Lord, we pray for healing for this husband, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in their marriage and pray for reconciliation and peace to reign in their home. Lord, we ask that You touch this husband's heart and remind him of the covenant he made before You and his wife. We pray that You would draw them closer to You and to each other.
Lastly, we pray for this wife, that You would give her the strength, wisdom, and patience needed to navigate this challenging time. Remind her that she is not alone. She is not forsaken. Help her to lean on You for all her needs.
We may not know what the future holds, but we know You hold the future. Help them to trust in You, Jesus.
In this regard, we say to you, the one posting this request, that if you have not believed in Jesus Christ then this is a promise that you can count on. Trust in Him and you will be saved from an eternal punishment. Romans 10:13 WEB states, For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Furthermore, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please continue to stand strong in faith and believe that God is working things out for your good and His glory.
