Marriage Prayer: Cut Away Our Old Ways

Dear Lord,

Thank you for forgiving us of our sin and for bringing us far from our old patterns. Yet we still have pieces of our flesh that are constantly pulling at us to return to our old ways. God, you have called us to walk in freedom and in truth and that is our desire. Holy Spirit, cut this dead flesh away and replace it with life, truth, and freedom.
