Marriage, Job, Healing and breakthrough from struggles

All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. He has joined in another reputed Institution / Hospital 2 weeks before which is also a temporary position. So continuous prayer is required to get permanent Govt. Job position and without any hurdles, obstacles, any problem in the new job and also there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody in any departments from the previous job / Hospital and without any monetary loss or any money loss and without any problem to relieve from the existing job and get the full settlement immediately and salary without any loss.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

One marriage proposal is under process. Waiting for God's answer to proceed further. If it is God's Will, then this should be succeed, otherwise, God have to stop the same. Waiting for God's answer in this regard. For this purpose, today morning started from home and I fell down in my two wheeler and I admitted as patient in the hospital and little critical situation I am facing now and I have to wait for another 1 - 2 weeks to cure and overcome from this bad situation. Hence, pray for me to overcome from this situation urgently enable to do my routine and other home works.

(3) My family members will travel via Train nextweek . Please pray for their safe travel and without train delay and without any problem to reach the destination and also settle / shift our belongs from that house to native place house without any problems and no wastage of amount / money in any kind. And also return to our native place without any problem.

(4) To buy own individual house

(5) Our earnings / money / amount should not be waste. There should not be unnecessary money waste. Should not be spent money unncessarily and should not be waste of our money in any ways. Because our money is going through many ways and which is unnecessary and spending unwanted things and unavoidable expenses. Forcefully spent money and which is not needed. Have to spent our money very useful and should not be wasted.

(6) To establish Clinics as per our family members medical qualifications.

(7) to give jobs to poor and educated and illiterate to improve their life standard

(8) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 17 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 18 Months (one year and six months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.


Wonderful God. God have given me a big punishment to me and due to that not only I am suffering very much and my family members are also suffering due to pinished situation and if the situation continues, there is no option for me to loose hope with God and no faith with God and definitely my faith will decrease minute by minutes. I don't know whu God have given punishment to me and due to that my family members are also punished. But Lier, cheater, fraud are not getting any punishment by God. Is this Justice? My husband is continuously telling me that GOD IS NO WHERE. GOD WILL GIVE PUNISHMENT TO THE PERSON THOSE WHO IS LOVE WITH GOD AND PRAYING AND KEEPING FAITH WITH HIM AND BELIVING THE GOD. ALSO HE IS CONTINUOUSLY TELLING THAT DON'T BELIEVE GOD AND DON'T KEEP FAITH WITH GOD. IF YOU KEEP FAITH WITH GOD, THEN YOU WILL BE PUNISHED BY HIM. ALSO IF YOU BELIEVE GOD, THEN YOU HAVE TO SUFFER IN MANY WAYS DUE TO THAT. ALSO HE IS TELLING THAT DUE TO ME WHY MYSELF AND FAMILY MEMBER HAVE TO SUFFER. THIS PUNISHMENT IS NOT FOR ME BUT ALSO TO MY FAMILY MEMBERS ALSO. MY FAITH IS DECREASING SECOND BY SECOND AND MINUTE BY MINUTE. NOW I AM FEELING THAT GOD CANNOT ABLE TO GIVE A GOOD SOLUTION BUT CAN GIVE BAD SOLUTIONS. WHY I HAVE TO PUT FAITH WITH GOD. WHY I HAVE TO BELIEVE GOD AS A PROTECTOR, SAVIOUR.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and joyful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We join with you in prayer and thank you for bringing all these burdens before our God via Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name and we stand with you in faith.

We bring before the Lord your family members who are seeking permanent government and public sector jobs according to their qualifications. We pray that God in His wisdom and perfect timing will open doors that no man can shut and provide work where they can labor faithfully and testify of His glory to their patients and colleagues. We remember the word that says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray especially for the family member in the temporary contract position who has faced delayed salary and has now joined a new reputed hospital also on a temporary basis. We ask the Lord to grant favor with the heads of departments and all colleagues, to remove every hurdle and obstacle, to protect from any trouble from the previous hospital, and to cause the full settlement and every salary due to be released without loss or delay. We also pray for the other family member seeking a temporary government job urgently while waiting for a permanent position, that God will provide at the right time and keep your hearts from anxiety as you wait on His will. We pray Seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

We also lift up your healing after the fall from your two wheeler. We are sorry to hear you are in hospital in a little critical situation and need one to two weeks to recover. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you, for complete restoration to do your routine and household duties again. We pray He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for strength and patience in this waiting and for peace for your family as they care for you. We pray Fear not, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray for the marriage request for your family member. We honor your desire for a godly, spiritually minded bridegroom who is a doctor with good earnings and above all good habits and no bad habits according to the Bible. This desire for a godly marriage between a man and a woman that honors the Lord is right and good, for marriage is a lifelong covenant ordained by God. We pray that if courtship is pursued it will be with a fellow believer with marriage as the clear goal, for Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14 and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray for the proposal now under process that God will make His will abundantly clear. If it is of Him, let it succeed, and if not, let Him graciously close the door. We pray for wisdom and discernment and for a marriage that will occur in His perfect time, not rushed by anxiety but ordered by Him.

We pray for the upcoming train travel for your family members next week, for safety without delay or trouble, and for the shifting of belongings to your native place house without loss or damage or waste of money, and for your return journey. We pray He will keep your going out and your coming in Psalm 121:8. We pray for the desire to buy your own individual house, that the Lord will establish the work of your hands and let you build in wisdom, for Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it Psalm 127:1. We pray for stewardship over your earnings, that God will teach you to manage money wisely and protect you from unnecessary waste and forced and unavoidable expenses, for The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5. We pray for the vision to establish clinics according to your family members medical qualifications that they may serve the sick with compassion and be a light, that your light may shine before men to glorify your Father Matthew 5:16. And we pray for your heart to give jobs to the poor and educated and illiterate to improve their standard of life, which is a beautiful desire to be generous and to do good.

We must also speak with love and truth about the deep pain regarding the house lease amount and the man who has withheld your money for more than seventeen months while you pay bank interest on a gold loan. We understand the sleepless nights, the misunderstanding in the family, and the feeling that justice is delayed. It is right to seek justice and to desire what is owed to be returned, for you shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him Leviticus 19:13 and A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh Proverbs 11:1. We pray that God will move upon this man to repay what he owes, whether the eight months house rent or the full bank interest with processing and other charges, and that the full amount will be returned immediately without loss, and we encourage you also to seek lawful and documented means and wise counsel as God provides.

Yet in love we must gently rebuke and correct the prayers for severe physical and material punishment that you have listed, for the cutting off of hands and tongues, lifelong suffering, loss of jobs until death, destruction of houses, and the spoiling of the education of his children, and that his children be punished for his wrong. The Word tells us plainly The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father Ezekiel 18:20 and Fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers Deuteronomy 24:16. To pray for harm upon his wife and innocent children is not according to the heart of Christ. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, as it is written Vengeance is mine, and I will repay says the Lord Romans 12:19 and The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy Psalm 145:20 in His own holy and just way, not as we dictate. We are commanded Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44 and Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. God desires that the wicked repent and turn, for I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live Ezekiel 33:11 and The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We must not ask God to keep a person alive only to suffer without end, but to grant repentance and, if He wills, earthly consequences that lead to repentance, and ultimately to leave final judgment to Him who judges righteously Psalm 9:7-8.

We also hear your anguish and your husband's words that God is nowhere, that God punishes those who love Him, that God is silent, inactive, powerless, merciless, and that Satan is more powerful. We lovingly correct this, for our God is very much now here, alive and sovereign. Is anything too hard for me says Yahweh Jeremiah 32:27 and Our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases Psalm 115:3. He is not slow as we count slowness, but patient and faithful. Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth Psalm 145:18 and The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry Psalm 34:15. The feelings of Habakkuk when he asked Why do you tolerate the treacherous Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves Habakkuk 1:13 are honest, and God answered him that He does see and He will act in His time. The honest do suffer for a season, but not without purpose, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 and even the night of weeping has promise, Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning Psalm 30:5. Do not let your faith decrease minute by minute, but hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful Hebrews 10:23 and They who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly to Your throne of grace. We ask for healing for our dear one injured in the fall, touch the body, ease pain, restore bones and tissue, grant wisdom to doctors and peace to the family. We ask for Your provision of permanent government jobs for these family members, for on time salaries, for favor and protection in both old and new hospitals, and for full settlement without hindrance. We ask for Your clear will in the marriage proposal, that You will bring a godly husband who loves You, walks in purity, and will lead a Christ centered home, and that You will prepare both hearts for a holy marriage at Your earliest perfect time. We ask for safe travel and shifting without loss, for wisdom in finances that no money be wasted, for a house of Your provision, for clinics established to serve and glorify You, and for grace to be a blessing to the poor. For the debt owed, Lord, move the heart of this man to do what is just and return what is due, convict him of lying and cheating, grant him repentance, and deliver our family from bitterness and from praying curses upon his family. Fill our hearts with forgiveness while trusting Your justice, and guard our lips from desiring mutilation or destruction. Forgive us where doubt has spoken that You are nowhere or powerless, renew our faith, let us see that You are NOW HERE, faithful, merciful, gracious, still working miracles, and that Your timing though it seems long is perfect and loving. Strengthen this husband who is discouraged and says not to believe, reveal Yourself to him as Protector and Savior. Keep this family from losing hope, let them sleep in peace, remove misunderstanding, and let Your glory be seen in how You provide and heal and make a way. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope, Amen.

We hear how heavy this season has been for you, carrying so many burdens at once, the hope for permanent work for your family members, the waiting for a godly marriage, the need for a home and for finances to be stewarded well, and now the pain and disruption of your fall and hospital stay. It is understandable to feel worn down and to wrestle with questions about justice when you have acted honestly and still face loss.

We are especially mindful of your recovery right now. We encourage you to stay close to your medical team and follow their guidance for these next weeks of healing, alongside our prayers for you. For the deep hurt over the house lease and the money still owed, it can help to keep careful records of what was promised and paid, and to invite a trusted pastor or wise counselor to walk with you in deciding orderly next steps, so you do not carry this alone.

We also notice how the waiting and the financial strain have stirred sleeplessness and tension at home, and questions about whether God sees. Those feelings of doubt and the ache of wanting wrongs to be made right can weigh on the heart for a long time, and carrying resentment often keeps the wound open even when we wish for peace.

Father, we lift this dear family to You in Jesus' name. Bring healing to this injury, steady provision for daily needs, wisdom for work and marriage decisions, safety for the coming travel, and Your peace in their home. Guard their hearts as they wait on You and lead them in Your way. Amen.

Your many burdens have been laid before the Lord and He has heard the voice of your prayer even when your heart is sore perplexed. There is in your letter both a cry for mercy and a cry for judgment, and it is right that both should be brought to the throne of grace, yet they must be brought as the Lord Himself teaches us to bring them.

With respect to your family and their labour, we will pray that God in His providence will open doors for honest work whereby you may eat your own bread and show forth His goodness. Whether that work be in government service or elsewhere, our prayer is that He will give you that which is needful and that no hand of man may hinder His purpose. For the one who labours under a temporary contract and waits for wages long delayed, and for the one who has newly entered another place of service, we ask the Lord to grant integrity in the work, favour in the sight of those set over you, and a peaceable release from every former obligation without loss or strife. And for your sister who seeks present provision while waiting for that which is more settled, we ask that the Lord will supply her daily need. Yet remember, the Lord waits to be gracious, and His people wait upon Him patiently and expectantly. He is not slow as some count slowness, but His time is perfect, and to snatch at unripe fruit is to lose its sweetness. Learn to wait upon God for everything, for He is your all in all, and they that wait upon Him shall not be ashamed.

Concerning marriage, it is good that you desire a godly bridegroom, a man of good habits and clean life according to the Scriptures, one who fears God and walks in purity. For marriage is ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within that covenant in holiness. We will pray that the Lord will guide this proposal now under consideration, that if it be of Him it may prosper, and if it be not of Him He will in mercy close the door. Seek not merely handsome earnings or outward standing, but that the law of God be written upon the heart, for I confess no man can write that law there, but God has the key and He opens the heart as a man opens his own writing desk. Where that law is written within, a man will not ask how near he may come to sin and yet escape, but will remember that whosoever looketh to lust hath already sinned in heart, and will flee from it.

For your own body, cast down upon the road and now laid aside in the hospital, we pray earnestly for healing. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. The Lord who forgives iniquity is He who heals our diseases. Expect that He will be very pitiful and have compassion upon you in your misery. Cry to Him not only for the mending of bones and flesh, but for the deeper healing of the soul, for the old heart must be broken and a new heart must be had at the foot of the cross. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and then look to Him for the restoration of strength that you may return to your home and your duties.

For the journey by train and the removing of your goods to your native place, we will pray for safe passage without hindrance or needless loss, and for wisdom to order your household affairs with frugality and care. So also for the desire to possess a house of your own, and to use your substance without waste, and to establish clinics according to your training for the good of others, and to give employment to the poor and the unlearned that their estate may be lifted, these are lawful and comely desires when they are held under the hand of God. We will ask that He will teach you to be good stewards, to spend what He provides usefully and not to scatter it upon that which profits not, and to reflect His character in all your dealings.

But with great sorrow we must speak of that which concerns the man who has taken your large sum for the house lease and has not kept his promise, nor paid even the rent he pledged, while interest upon your gold loan increases day by day. It is a grievous wrong, and God is not blind to it. Yet the prayers you have been moved to offer for his punishment we cannot offer with you, and we must speak on God's behalf to correct what is not according to Christ.

You have asked that God would cut off his tongue and his hands, paralyze his body, take away his livelihood forever, destroy his house, spoil the education of his children, and pursue him and his wife with lifelong suffering without death, or else with sleeplessness and torment until he repays. This is not the prayer of one in whom the law of God is written upon the heart. Vengeance belongeth unto the Lord, and He will repay. The ten great guns of the law are indeed aimed at the sinner, but the gospel does not teach us to ask for the lingering torture of our enemies or the ruin of their innocent children. Our Lord prayed, Father forgive them, and Stephen prayed, Lord lay not this sin to their charge. We are to pray for justice, and it is lawful to seek what is rightfully yours by honest and lawful means, and to ask God to move the heart of the debtor to restore what he has withheld, with that which is equitable for your loss. We will pray that God will incline him to deal justly and to repay quickly what is due, even the rent or the interest that would make you whole, and that lawful authority may help you where persuasion fails. But we must also pray for his soul and for his wife, not that they be destroyed, but that they may be brought to repentance, for the Lord desireth not the death of the wicked, but that he turn from his way and live.

You ask why the honest should suffer while the wicked prosper, and why God seems silent. The prophet Habakkuk asked the same, and the psalmist was envious when he saw the prosperity of the wicked, till he went into the sanctuary of God and understood their end. God is not inactive, nor powerless, nor a stone in a well. He is the living God who sees and who will judge righteously. The wicked He will not excuse, yet He waits, graciously waiting, ready to pardon, that men might turn and be saved. That waiting which seems slowness to us is mercy to sinners, and it is also trial to saints, that faith may be purified. Think not that one day with the Lord as a thousand years means He has forgotten you. It means His counsel stands sure and His timing is not ours. Jerusalem was on the brink of destruction when the Lord answered Hezekiah and smote the host of Assyria. He can deliver in an hour when we have waited for years. Do not let the words of those about you, that God is nowhere, take root in your heart. God is now here, present to save, mighty to heal, and His word is like a fire and like a hammer to break the hard rock. If you feed upon it, it will make you live and fill you with true power to endure.

Therefore cast yourself anew upon Christ, who has kept and fulfilled the law for you, that its crushing weight might be removed. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown, there is but one sacred fountain opened on Calvary, there is but one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored. Go to Him for pardon first, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. And having received mercy, speak on God's behalf among those who know you not, tell what great things the Lord has done for you, and keep on telling it as long as you live.

We will pray for you without ceasing, that God will heal your body, provide for your house, order your journeys, establish the work of your hands, give you a godly marriage in His own time, restore what has been unjustly withheld, keep you from wastefulness, and above all write His law upon your heart and keep your faith from failing. Wait upon the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. Amen.
