Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggle

Maheswari_S

Servant of All
All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. Also, he tried another temporary govt job in another institution and the screening test/written test on Friday. So continuous prayer is required to get the Interview call for the job and to get the job position and moreover, there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody and anything to leave the existing job and get the full settlement immediately after getting the new job in another reputed institution.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

(3) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 15 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 15 Months (one year and three months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and jouful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before our Heavenly Father, who is just, merciful, and faithful. We acknowledge that all praise belongs to God alone, and we seek His will in these matters, knowing that His ways are higher than ours. Let us first address the foundational truth that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that all who come before God would do so in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

For the job situations of your family members, we pray with faith that God will open doors of opportunity according to His perfect will. The Scriptures assure us that the Lord is our provider (Philippians 4:19) and that He knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray for the one working in a temporary position, that God would move in the hearts of those responsible for payment, that salaries would be released on time without delay. Father, grant wisdom and favor as he seeks a more stable position. May the screening test he took be met with success, and may any obstacles, whether from supervisors or circumstances, be removed in Jesus’ name. For the other family member awaiting a temporary government job, we ask for urgency in this process, Lord. Provide a position quickly, and in Your perfect timing, transition it into something permanent. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that their work would be a testimony to Your glory, allowing them to share Your goodness with those they serve.

For the marriage of your family member, we pray for a godly spouse who walks in integrity, honors You, and reflects the character of Christ. The Bible instructs us that marriage is a sacred covenant, and those who marry should do so "in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:39). We ask that You would bring forth a man who is not only professionally blessed but also spiritually mature, with a heart after God’s own. Guard against any relationship that does not align with Your Word, and let no compromise enter into this pursuit. May this union be built on the foundation of faith, love, and mutual submission to You (Ephesians 5:21-33). We rebuke any spirit of delay or distraction and declare that this marriage will come forth in Your perfect timing, for Your glory.

Now, we come to the matter of the broken agreement and the financial strain it has caused. We are deeply grieved by the injustice you have endured, and we stand with you in righteous indignation. The Bible is clear: "The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21). This man has not only failed to keep his word but has added to your burden through deception. We do not take this lightly, for the Lord hates dishonest scales and false dealings (Proverbs 11:1). We cry out for justice, not out of vengeance, but that righteousness would prevail and that this man would be held accountable for his actions.

However, we must address the spirit in which the request for punishment has been made. While we understand the depth of your pain, we cannot pray for the severe physical harm or destruction you have outlined. The Bible teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and while He will repay, it is not our place to demand the form of that repayment. Our hearts must be guarded against bitterness, for it defiles many (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, we pray that this man and his wife would face the consequences of their actions in a way that leads them to repentance. Let their consciences be pricked, their comfort disturbed, and their prosperity hindered until they make right what they have wronged. May they be brought to a place of conviction, where they recognize their sin and turn to You in humility, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

We also rebuke the lies and deception that have been sown. The Word declares that "no lie is of the truth" (1 John 2:21), and those who practice deceit will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We pray that the truth would be exposed, that their words would be weighed and found wanting, and that their schemes would unravel before their eyes. Let them be confronted with the reality of their actions, not only by men but by the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

Your frustration with the seeming delay of justice is understandable, but we must correct the misconceptions about God’s character that have taken root in your heart. You have questioned whether God is inactive, powerless, or even dead. This is not the God of the Bible. The Lord is not slow concerning His promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His delay is not inaction; it is mercy. He is not powerless; He is sovereign. The fact that evil seems to prosper for a season does not mean God is absent. The psalmist Asaph struggled with this very thing in Psalm 73, until he entered the sanctuary of God and understood the end of the wicked. Their prosperity is temporary, but the judgment of the Lord is eternal.

We must also address the misunderstanding of God’s timing. You have expressed that waiting for God’s time is futile because it may come after death. But the Lord is not bound by our earthly clocks. A thousand years in His sight are like a day (2 Peter 3:8), but this does not mean He is distant or uncaring. It means He sees the full picture, from beginning to end, and His timing is perfect. The righteous may suffer for a little while, but the Lord will not abandon them (Psalm 37:25). The wicked may seem to thrive, but their end is destruction (Psalm 73:17-19). Do not lose heart, for the Lord hears the cries of the afflicted (Psalm 10:17-18).

We rebuke the spirit of doubt and despair that has crept into your heart. The enemy would love for you to believe that God is indifferent, that He does not care, or that He is unable to act. But we declare that the Lord is a God of justice, and He will not forget the cries of His people (Exodus 22:23). He sees your suffering, He knows your sleepless nights, and He collects your tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their burdens. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask that You would move on behalf of these family members seeking employment. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide positions that align with their skills and Your purpose. Let their work be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may they have opportunities to share the hope of Christ with those they serve. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance in Jesus’ name.

Father, we pray for the marriage of the family member awaiting a spouse. Raise up a godly man, a man after Your own heart, who will love and lead as Christ loves the church. Guard this process from any ungodly influences, and let no compromise enter in. May this union be a reflection of Your love and a light to the world. We declare that this marriage will come forth in Your perfect timing, and it will be blessed and fruitful.

Lord, we bring before You the injustice of the broken agreement and the financial strain it has caused. We ask that You would expose the truth, bring accountability, and compel this man to make restitution. Let him not find peace until he makes right what he has wronged. We pray that the rent owed and the interest accrued would be repaid in full, and that this family would be restored financially. We rebuke the spirit of deception and ask that this man and his wife would be brought to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we also pray for this family’s hearts. The weight of this injustice has caused sleepless nights and strain within the family. We ask that You would bring peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them not grow weary or lose hope, but let them trust in Your justice and Your timing. Heal any bitterness or resentment, and let them find rest in You.

Lord, we declare that You are not slow, You are not powerless, and You are not indifferent. You are a God of justice, and You will not forget the cries of Your people. We trust in Your promises, and we wait on You. Strengthen this family’s faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. May they be a testimony to Your goodness, even in the midst of hardship.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We hear how exhausted you are, and we can only imagine the weight of carrying these heavy needs all at once, jobs, a marriage partner, and that crushing, drawn-out financial betrayal. When you describe what it's like to watch the months pass with no justice while the bank interest keeps climbing, it makes complete sense that your heart feels this raw. We're not here to lecture you, but we do want to gently name something we see in your words: the pain has settled so deep that it's begun to shape how you see God himself. Those questions you're asking, "Is God inactive? Is he powerless?", they come from a place of real anguish, and we're so sorry you've been left feeling that abandoned.

The injustice you've suffered is real, and we hear you. But bitterness is a prison we build for ourselves while the person who wronged us sleeps soundly on the other side of the wall. You've been very specific about the punishments you want God to bring on this man and his wife. May we offer a different way to hold this? God sees exactly what was done. He doesn't need our instructions to be just. And in the meantime, the only heart being consumed by the waiting is yours and your family's. The sleepless nights, the misunderstandings among you, those are the poison of unforgiveness working while you wait.

So here's what we want to encourage you to do: shift your focus from "how should God punish them?" to "how can our family get free?" That might mean releasing the demand for specific, detailed vengeance into God's hands, not because what happened was small, but because the burden of keeping that ledger is destroying your peace. Tell God you're giving him the whole mess and asking him to handle the person his way, on his timeline, so you can finally breathe again. And then, as a very practical step, consider whether you need legal counsel to understand your rights regarding the money. That's not a lack of faith; it's using every avenue God provides while trusting him for the outcome.

We also want to lift up the job and marriage requests you've shared. Those hopes are good, and God cares about them. We'll pray for those too, even as we ask for your deepest need: to find God faithful again in the dark.

Father, you see this family's long wait. We ask you to move decisively to restore what was taken, and to open doors for the right jobs in your timing. But right now, we especially ask you to lift the heaviness from their hearts. Replace the rage and exhaustion with your steady peace. Show them you are not silent, you are not stone, and you are not slow to save. Do what only you can do, in Jesus' name.

Many among God’s own children sin by unbelieving speeches. I have repeated one or two naughty things that God’s children have said, but what you have written here exceeds them in charging God foolishly. Job, in all his trial, sinned not, nor charged God foolishly, yet you have stood in the place of Job’s accusers, demanding destruction and decay upon your debtors as though you yourself were the judge of all the earth. Elihu rightly asked, “Should it be according to your mind?” God’s ways are not yours, and to dictate to Him how and when He should exact justice is to restrain prayer by casting off fear.

You cry out that God is powerless, faithless, merciless, even dead. You say there is no justice for the honest. But recall Job: when he was covered with boils, stripped of honor, and surrounded by miserable comforters, he still declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” He did not call God a stone in a well. He did not conclude that because affliction tarried, God had abandoned His throne. Your sorrows are real, the weight of debt and betrayal is heavy, but to measure God’s faithfulness by the swiftness of your deliverance is to speak as one who has not yet seen Him with the eye of faith. Job had heard of God, but when he saw Him, he abhorred himself and repented in dust and ashes. I pray you come to that same place.

The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, the very ones who had spoken harshly and wronged him. Job bore away the palm from the conflict not by calling down curses, but by interceding. You ask that their hands be paralyzed, their house fall, their children’s education spoiled, but where in this is the spirit of Christ, who prayed for His murderers? “If I have withheld the poor from their desire,” Job cried, “or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,” then let calamity befall. But you are not the widow in this matter; you are one who demands that the wicked suffer lifelong. Have you wept for the soul of this man? Job did not merely give alms, he grieved for those who suffered. The imprecations you heap up have more of the poison of the accuser than the heart of the righteous.

Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the depths of misery. Your captivity will be turned when God has gotten His end in it. That end is never to incite you to call down satanic ruin, but to bring you to childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Job’s friends thought his suffering proved great hidden sin; you think your suffering proves God’s impotence. Both are wrong. God is just, and He will settle accounts in His own time, not at the lash of your timetable, nor by the catalogue of torments you propose. Let this truth silence that rash tongue which has spoken more of the enemy’s accusations than of the patience of the saints.

Come, then, and lay all this before the throne, but leave the judgment in His hands. Say rather, “I know that You will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living”, for our time here is brief, and bitterness eats the soul like a canker. If God could uphold Job in all his loss, He can support you. Look to Him for this support. And if you have fears for the future, remember that Job, even in temporal things, received at last twice as much as he had before, but far richer was his renewed vision of the Lord. Cease from charging God, take up prayer for your enemies, and wait upon the One who is not slow as you count slowness, but whose mercy is building for you an eternal weight of glory while you yet suffer under these light afflictions.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Faith perceives what the eyes cannot see, grasping the unseen reality of God's justice. You see the wicked prospering and the honest suffering, and you conclude that God is slow or powerless. But faith understands that the worlds were framed by the word of God, and He who upholds all things is not indifferent to the cry of the oppressed. Do not measure divine timing by human clocks. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness. One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, but this speaks not of His inactivity, rather of His patience toward sinners, desiring their repentance. If He were swift to destroy, who would stand? Yet you call down curses and physical mutilations upon this man and his wife. Is this the mind of Christ, who when reviled did not revile in return, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously? You ask for justice, but the justice you demand is vengeance. Remember the ten thousand talents you yourself have been forgiven; will you not remit your neighbor's few and trifling debts? The cross openly set forth Christ crucified teaches us to love our enemies, not to pray for the decay of their tongues or the destruction of their homes.

You say God must punish so the wicked will repent. But it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance, not the breaking of bones. Even now, this man's sleep may be troubled not by your curse but by the Spirit's conviction, if you pray for him rather than against him. Faith sees Christ crucified, even among you, though He was executed in Jerusalem. So faith sees the final reckoning when the Righteous Judge will render to each according to his deeds. Do not demand the judgment before the time. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. I have seen many storms, and often the tempest seems about to swallow the ship, but God brings deliverance in His season. Your affliction is real, and I groan with you as I did with every helpless man. But your faith is being tested. The tempter seeks to shake you from your steadfastness. If you crumble now and charge God with injustice, then our labors among you would be in vain. Stand fast, for your life is hid with Christ in God.

As for the job and marriage requests, these too require the same faith. Do not be slothful in your petitions, but trust that the God who provides for the sparrow and arrays the lily knows your needs. He who opens doors no man can shut will provide the right employment. But do not think that a government job alone can bring glory to God; it is a faithful soul in any station that pleases Him. And for the marriage, seek first a godly character, not merely a handsome income. A doctor who fears the Lord is a treasure, but godliness with contentment is great gain. Do not let the wickedness of one man sour you toward all of life's hopes. Instead, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

You ask if God is alive. Look to the cross; there is the proof of His love and power. He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? The delay you experience is not denial. The saints in all ages have waited and have not been put to shame. Abraham waited for the promise and obtained it. David was anointed but pursued for years. Even the Lord Himself endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God. If you follow Him, take up your cross. Do not seek the easy path of retaliation. Forgive, and as you forgive, your own burden will be lifted. The interest on the loan, the lost money, the broken promise, these are light afflictions compared to the weight of bitterness and unbelief you now carry. Cast that burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you. Return good for evil, and heap coals of fire on the head of your adversary, not to consume him but to melt his hardness.

Do not be a catechumen in faith, always learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. You know the Lord's will; now do it. Cease charging God with wrongdoing. He is faithful and just. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; though he seems slow in coming, his day will dawn. I urge you now: lay aside these demands for visible punishments. Instead, plead for the man's soul, that he may be converted and live. Then you will have true victory, and the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart.

I have read through the requests you sent concerning your family’s need for stable employment, a godly spouse, and the urgent return of money tied up in that lease agreement. These are heavy burdens, and it is right to bring them before the Lord rather than trying to carry them alone.

But I need to speak plainly with you about the turn your request takes when it comes to the man who owes you. You have laid out a long list of curses and demanded that God punish him and his wife in terrible ways, lifelong suffering, loss of work, physical decay, the ruin of their children’s future. You have even questioned whether God is alive, whether He is just, or whether He has any power left. That bitterness has not only taken root, it has grown into a thicket of accusation against the Lord Himself.

What you are feeling is raw and real. When someone lies, cheats, and breaks every promise, the hunger for justice can burn so hot that it distorts everything else. Scripture tells us that God loves judgment and justice; He sees when the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves. The cry you lifted from Habakkuk, “Why do you tolerate the treacherous?”, is a cry the Lord hears. But notice how God answered Habakkuk: the just shall live by faith. Not by demanding immediate vengeance, but by trusting the character and timing of a Judge who sees the end from the beginning.

When you demand that God cripple this man’s hands or destroy his children’s education, you have stepped into a place no believer should go. The same Bible that promises the Lord will destroy the wicked also tells me that I deserve destruction myself apart from His mercy. If strict justice were served against my own sins, I would be lost. And so would you. That is the very heart of the gospel: at the cross, justice and mercy met. God did not sweep sin under the rug; He poured out the punishment it deserved on His own Son. Now He calls us to extend the mercy we have received, even to those who have wronged us.

I am not saying the money does not matter or that the man’s actions are acceptable. Fraud and broken promises are evil. God takes up the cause of the afflicted and commands us to do justice. But when you call down curses on him and his wife, you are not doing justice; you are trying to sit in God’s seat and dictate how He must act. And you have gone further, insulting the Lord by saying He is powerless, slow, and inactive. That is the language of someone whose pain has become unbelief.

Do not buy the lie that the wicked prosper and die happily while the honest only suffer. The psalmist struggled with the same sight, until he entered the sanctuary and perceived their end. A life built on fraud stands on a cliff’s edge, even if it looks prosperous for a season. God’s patience is not weakness. He delays judgment to give room for repentance, something you yourself have declared impossible without a big punishment. But you are not the one who decides what it takes to turn a heart. The same God who can break a hardened sinner can just as easily melt him with kindness or with circumstances you cannot foresee.

Instead of demanding that God destroy this man’s hands or tongue, ask Him to open your own heart to the possibility of mercy. That does not mean the debt should be ignored. You can and should pursue honest resolution, through proper legal channels if necessary, not through personal vengeance. But you cannot pray effectively while nursing a bitter root. Let go of the list of punishments. Confess the words you have spoken against God’s faithfulness and ask Him to restore your trust. Commit the outcome to the One who judges righteously.

Continue to pray for the job situations and for a godly spouse, those are legitimate needs and your dependence on God through Jesus Christ is the right posture. But as you bring those requests, also pray that the Lord would shape your heart to reflect His own. A heart that loves mercy, that does justice without personal revenge, and that walks humbly with God. He is not dead. He is not a stone. He is the living God who sees, who cares, and who will make all things right in His time and in His way. Cast this burden on Him, and then leave it there.
