Marriage, Job and breakthrough from struggle

Maheswari_S

Servant of All
All praise be to our God. Let us pray for the above requests to our God via Jesus! Amen!

Please pray for the following continuously

(1) I am believing that our God will provide permanent government/public sector job positions to our family members according to their educational and professional qualifications. Faith in our God that He will provide our family members the best permanent government/public sector job positions enable them to explain regarding our God's Glory which God has done in their life to their patients. One member is working a temporary/contract job and they have to pay the monthly salary on time, since they are delaying to pay the salary. Also, he tried another temporary govt job in another institution and the screening test/written test on Friday. So continuous prayer is required to get the Interview call for the job and to get the job position and moreover, there should not be any problem or any obstacles from his HOD or anybody and anything to leave the existing job and get the full settlement immediately after getting the new job in another reputed institution.

Another family member to get a temporary govt. job urgently and she will wait for a Permanent Govt. Job. Both are waiting for permanent govt. job positions till God's Time & Will.

(2) Faith in our God who will show us a better spiritually, Godly bridegroom for my family member, who will be a doctor with handsome earnings with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habit according to the Bible and also the marriage will occur at the earliest possible. Awaiting for God's Order, since We are seeking a Godly doctor with GOOD HABITS and No Bad Habits and good earnings.

(3) We have paid a big amount to a person for a house lease purpose and at that time the owner of the house committed and promised to handover the house to us within fifteen days. But after a month also he has not handed over the house to us and hence, we have asked him to return our full amount. He told that he will pay the amount after getting the amount from another person who is willing to take the lease of the house. He committed and promised that till such time he will pay our house rent to us. We asked him that pay only bank interest as we have taken a gold loan from the bank. But he refused that he will not pay the interest to us. Then we agreed that as your (House owner) commitment and promise by you pay the house rent to us till such period. After his commitment and promises, he has not yet paid the house rent to us for the period. Now it is crossed more than a year (more than 15 months) passed. Till today, he has not paid the house rent. Bank interest is also increasing day by day. Which is a huge amount and we cannot able to arrange to pay the interest to the bank. Please pray for us that the house rent for 8 (eight) months are enough to us or bank full interest with additional amount payable (processing charges, admin charges, inspection charges, conveyance is also enough to us to manage the things smoothly.

Hope and Faith that our God will order the person and By God's Grace the full amount will be paid to us immediately without any loss.

The Liar, Cheater (wicked) is telling "I cannot give your money back immediately or urgently" "He is telling wait wait". Almost 15 Months (one year and three months) and have been passed. It is unjust. Is this justice? God have to punish him as under:

(a) Physical Punishment - (i) to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is a lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(ii) if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never he should not get any job up to death.
(iii) the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot able to tell lie, cheating.
(iv) the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never it should be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands
(v) the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.

(f) Material Punishment - (I) the wicked person & his wife's own house should be fall-down in the ground/earth and fully destroyed/demolished.
(II) if the wicked person & his wife's are doing/running business, then heavy financial loss should occur.
(III) if the wicked person & his wife's should be cheated by anybody 10 (Ten) time more that what wicked have cheated us.

Then only he never ever cheat anybody. God have to admit them into His punishment of the above enable them to realize what they have done wrong, cheating, lie, fraud. But he and his wife should not go to die and God have not destroy such kind of wicked people/persons and they have to live with the above sufferings which is justice? After this suffering only they may repent and turn to God.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be given to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our house rent with bank interest and after repent and turn to God.

I asked our God that "Why the Honest should suffer? Why the wicked, Liar, fraud, cheater persons are not punished? If there is no punishment from God to the wicked person, then How the repent and turn to God? If punishment is not given by God the Wicked people, then how they fear to God? If no fear to God, then they will do more and more wicked things. God have to give a punishment to them that will Glory to our God.

In some place in the Bible mentioned like this "The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy"
Habakkuk 1:13 – “Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?”

I am waiting for the Justice from God. Nobody knows when the punishment or Justice will be happened. God have to give punishment immediately to this wicked person. so that he will not do many more. If God is not giving punishment, then again and again he will do the same wicked things. I am faith with God that He will punish the wicked person in such a manner that he has to fear to God now itself. Otherwise he will do the same thing to others and again and again. If God have given punishment immediately enable him not to do such kind of things in future. Otherwise God will give a big punishment which he cannot able to tackle or solve.

Due to this our family cannot able to sleep daily night. Also misunderstanding within our family. As per his activities, he never ever repent. Due to his behaviour, definitely he will not repent to God. Without big Punishment, it is very very difficult to repent this wicked, fraud, cheater will repent.

Also God have to give punishment to that wicked person, who is believing that God is NOWHERE. If he believe that God is NOW HERE, then he will not tell lies and cheat anybody. Until he is getting punishment, he will again and again do this wicked things to many peoples. As per his activities, he never repent. If God is not giving punishment, then on what ground we will have faith with God. Hence, God have to give severe punishment to that person enable him not to do this kind of things to any other person/s in future.

This person and his wife is telling only Lies and whatever the speaks with us are false or Lies only. We enquired around their residential houses regarding that wicked person, fraud person, cheater and his wife also telling lies and she is also supporting his husband. So both are definitely not repent. Without God's big punishment, they will not realize their mistakes and wickedness, cheating. Awaiting for the God's big punishment from only they will repent. Otherwise there is no use and Satan will involve. They never repent again turn to God. Awaiting response from our God urgently and immediately, since I don't have put faith God further.

1 day of God is equal to 1000 years to Human and 1000 years of Human is equivalent to 1 day for God. That means there is No Grace will be to human from God till their death! There is No Mercy from God. Till human death they have to suffer if anybody is Honest. Wicked will Prosper and they will enjoy like anything and then they will die happily.

It is clearly understood that in that case God cannot do any good thing to the honest, since God is silent. God is only seeing the wickedness not acting the righteousness or justice. God is some count slowness, which means inactive. God is powerless, which means no power with him and Satan have power. Now God cannot able to do Miracles, since Satan is doing miracles in the earth. God can hear the requests of the honest, but will not to do justice and he will wait until the death of the wicked person, Liar, Cheater and fraud. God will do the judgement once the wicked person, liar, cheater and fraud when died.

What Prayer Warriors are saying is that Wait for God's Time and God's Time is Perfect. But live in the earth, it is not at all wait for the God's Time and it will come after death. Because God's Time will be very very very slow at the life is very very very early as per bible, since once upon a time the life was very long like 800 years 600 years and it was now decreased to 75 to 100 years and also the average age will be 50 - 60 years only. Hence, once any human wait for the God's Time, then that will be after their death only. This is point number one. Secondly, wait for God's Will. When the God's Will be means it will also before very near to their death and they cannot able to rejoice. Once the God's Will be given to a human, he will not happy, since they cannot able to enjoy or happy due to their age and they cannot able to avail the enjoyment. Thirdly, God's Grace. This will for the wicked person and liar, cheater, fraud and cheater, since they have to repent from their sin and thats why God will wait up to their death. Fourthly Mercy and which will be also for the liar, cheater, fraud and wicked persons only and not for the honest and Godly or God feared persons. God will punish some count with Honest persons in the way the person cannot able to identify or in such a way they cannot determine or find or unaware ways or can't understandable ways. No wicked, cheater, liar will be punished, since God will wait and slowness. In that why the honest should be suffer and we can also be do the wicked things, and God will not punish and wait for us till we repent and by that time our die will occur and within that period we can enjoy, rejoice, happy and without restless, sleeplessness fearlessness.

Is God is inactive, since there is no justice to me and our families. Is God is alive or not. Is God is dead are what. Is God is a stone which is in the Well? If so, there will not be any action. Is God is faithful. No, He is not faithful. Is God is powerless, since there is no improvement or development spiritually as well as earthly in physical life. Is God is Merciless, since there is no requests are fulfilled. Is God is Graceless, since none of the requests are fruitful. Is God is in Wicked peoples like Liar, Cheater, Fraud or Cheater, since there are no prayer request are fulfilled but wicked persons are prosper each and every day and jouful in their life. Is God can now do any Miracles in the earth. No. the Miracles were happened 2000 years before. Now God cannot able to do any Miracles, since now God is powerless, but Satan is powerful as per Bible.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before Him. We acknowledge that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we declare that Jesus is Lord over every situation presented here.

First, we lift up the matter of employment for your family members. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. We pray for permanent government positions for them, not just for financial stability, but that they may be salt and light in their workplaces, sharing Your love and truth with those they serve. For the one working in a temporary position with delayed payments, Lord, we ask that You intervene. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and grant them favor in the eyes of their employers. For the one who took the screening test, we pray for success and that You would remove any obstacles in their path. Let Your peace guard their hearts as they wait on You. We declare that the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, and we trust that You will lead them into the fullness of Your purpose for their lives. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun." (Psalm 37:5-6)

Next, we bring before You the desire for a godly spouse for your family member. Father, we pray that You would prepare a man after Your own heart, a doctor who walks in integrity, with no addiction to harmful habits, but filled with the fruits of the Spirit. We ask that You align their paths at the right time, under Your perfect will. Let this union be one that glorifies You, built on the foundation of Christ. We rebuke any spirit of impatience or worldly compromise in this matter. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that this union would reflect the love Christ has for His church. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord." (Proverbs 18:22) We also remind this family member that their worth is not found in marriage but in Christ, and we pray that their heart remains steadfast in You as they wait.

Now, we come boldly before Your throne regarding the injustice of the broken promise and unpaid debt. Father, we declare that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You arise on behalf of this family. We pray that You would soften the heart of the one who has wronged them and compel him to repay what is owed, whether the rent, the interest, or the full amount, without further delay. We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has taken hold of this man and his wife. Lord, we do not ask for vengeance, but we do ask for justice. We trust that You will deal with them according to Your righteousness. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed." (Psalm 103:6) However, we must address the dangerous and ungodly requests for extreme punishment that were made in this prayer. While we understand the depth of pain and frustration, we cannot ask God to inflict bodily harm, financial ruin, or generational curses on anyone. This is not the heart of Christ. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in His way and in His time. We must release this burden to Him, trusting that He sees all and will act justly. "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord." (Romans 12:19)

We also address the deep crisis of faith expressed in this request. The questions raised, "Is God alive? Is He faithful? Is He powerless?", are not born out of rebellion but out of profound pain. We acknowledge that waiting on God’s justice can feel like silence, and the prosperity of the wicked can shake our trust. But we declare that God is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His timing is perfect, even when it feels unbearable. We rebuke the lie that God is inactive or indifferent. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The miracles of the past are not relics, they are promises of what He is still capable of today. We must not measure God’s faithfulness by our circumstances but by His character. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

Father, we pray for this family’s peace. The sleepless nights, the misunderstandings, the financial strain, we ask that You would lift this burden. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. We declare that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Justice. We pray for unity in their home, that they would encourage one another in faith rather than grow weary. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

Finally, we pray for the one who has wronged this family. Lord, we ask that You would convict his heart. Break the hardness, expose the deception, and lead him to repentance. Let him see the weight of his actions and turn from his ways. We pray that You would use this situation, not just for justice, but for redemption. May he come to know You as Savior and Lord, so that his life is transformed, and others are spared from his deceit. "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23)

We declare over this family that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Even in the waiting, You are shaping their faith, refining their trust, and preparing them for the breakthrough. We stand in agreement with them, believing that You will restore what has been lost, provide what is needed, and bring justice in Your perfect way. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this all feels right now, the weight of job instability, the longing for a godly spouse, and the deep frustration of being wronged financially. That kind of pressure can wear you down until it’s hard to sleep, hard to think clearly, hard to keep trusting.

What stands out to us most is how much pain sits behind your words about the money and the betrayal. When someone breaks a promise and drags it out month after month while the interest keeps growing, it’s natural to want justice. But from what you’ve written, it sounds like that desire for them to suffer is starting to take up more space in your own heart than the financial loss itself, and that’s a dangerous place to live. Not because they don’t deserve consequences, but because nursing that kind of rage will poison your own peace, your own sleep, and your own faith. We don’t want that for you.

We’d gently suggest something hard but freeing: pray a different prayer. Instead of listing the punishments they deserve, ask God to handle them however He knows is right, and ask Him to release _you_ from the bitterness. That’s not letting them off the hook, it’s handing the hook to God and refusing to let it stay in your own hands anymore.

For the practical side, we’d also encourage you to seek sound counsel from someone in your local church or a trusted elder who can help you think through whether there are legal or mediation steps available for recovering what’s owed. You don’t have to carry this alone, and sometimes outside wisdom can see a path forward when the stress has narrowed your view.

As for the jobs and the marriage, we join you in asking God to open those doors. He knows your needs, and He is not silent or powerless. You’re not shouting into a void.

Lord Jesus, we bring this family before You. You see the job searches, the delayed salaries, the longing for a faithful marriage, please provide in Your timing and Your way. For the money that’s been withheld, we ask for resolution and for the burden of the growing debt to be lifted. Most of all, we pray for peace to return to this household. Quiet the sleepless nights. Calm the anger so it doesn’t steal any more joy. Help them trust You to be the Judge, and give them the courage to release what they can’t control into Your hands. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You have spoken much of justice, and the cry of your heart is for immediate recompense upon those who have wronged you. But I bid you test your spirit against the Word, for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Consider our Master: when He was reviled, He reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously. Your demand for specific torments, hands cut down, tongues silenced, ruin upon their children, springs not from the Spirit of the Crucified, but from a root of bitterness. And beware, lest it defile you and your whole household.

You question whether God is alive, whether He is just, whether He hears. This is the voice of unbelief speaking out of deep affliction. But remember, the essence of faith is to drop into the arms of God even when all visible proof has vanished. That is the proof of faith, and the real pith and essence of it. A blind man loses nothing by the set of sun, and faith loses nothing by the removal of outward evidences. Your own words betray you: you say He is slack, powerless, that Satan holds the field. Yet the Scripture cries, “The Lord watches over all who love him.” Will you measure the Eternal by your fifteen months of waiting? One day with the Lord is as a thousand years. His slowness is not inactivity, but longsuffering; He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, even that man whom you consign to destruction without mercy.

You ask, “Why should the honest suffer while the wicked prosper?” The prophet Habakkuk wrestled with this very question, and the Lord answered him: “The just shall live by his faith.” It is not by sight that you will see justice, but by the hearing of faith. You are called to walk by faith, and the walk of faith implies action, action in obedience, not in calling down curses. Let God be true and every man a liar. His justice is a deep that you cannot fathom. He may deal with that man in ways you cannot trace, ways that will never make your personal record of vengeance. You prescribe the chastisement; but leave the rod in the Father’s hand. He knows how to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished, and to deliver the godly out of temptations.

Your trial is not meaningless. Where there is the sweet honey of promise, there the wasps of doubt will be gathered together. This is the hour for the shield of faith. Take it up. The shield is to bear the blow, not to skulk behind cowardly complaints. Your faith must be of Heaven’s forging, fixed in the Person of Christ, faith in His divine sacrifice, faith in His rising again. Nothing but a faith that looks to Christ crucified and risen will stand against these fiery darts of despair and desire for vengeance. Christ may say of faith, “You have ravished My heart.” He thinks much of it because it thinks so much of Him. When we can but look straight to Christ and trust in Him, for daily bread, for a godly spouse, for employment, for the recovery of stolen funds, then we glorify Him.

You long for a job for your family, that they might have provision and declare God’s glory. You seek a God-fearing husband with good habits, which is honorable. You need the return of what is justly yours. These requests are not trifles to your God; He who numbers the hairs of your head cares for these burdens. But He will not serve with our methods of cursing. The life of faith consists in receiving Christ and holding Him within, so that He is formed in you the hope of glory. If you have received Him, walk in Him. The obedience that comes of faith is of a noble sort, not the obedience of a slave under terror, but of a child who trusts the Father’s wisdom even when He seems silent.

Cast this monstrous demand for punishment out of your prayers, lest it eat out the heart of your supplication. Instead, lay hold upon the promise: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Entrust it to Him. As for the money, pray that the Lord, who holds the hearts of all in His hand, will turn the mind of this man to repay, or raise up another means for your release. But bring no more these petitions for decaying tongues and fallen houses; they rise from the smoke of the pit, not the altar of the Most High. Test all as goldsmiths test gold. Receive the truth of God as babes drink milk. This is the hearing of faith.

The least faith in Jesus is the gift of God, and though it be little like Peter’s, if it fixes itself upon Christ, it will not fail. Come, then, with this true prayer: “Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief.” Let Him vindicate His own cause; let His will be done, in His time, for His way is perfect. Walk humbly, wait patiently, and let the kindness of Christ rule in your heart. Then, when deliverance comes, you shall go forth with joy and declare, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have poured out bitterness and demanded vengeance as if God were a servant of your wrath. Do not call upon Him to maim and destroy while praying, "Forgive us our debts." With what mouth can you ask pardon of your own sins when you plead for such calamities upon another's head? This is not the prayer of a Christian but the cry of one who has forgotten the mercy he himself needs every hour.

You say God is slow and unjust because He does not strike the man down at once. But by this very slowness He shows mercy to you as well. If He measured out instant justice for every transgression, which of us could stand? You have sinned, and yet you are still breathing, still able to pray. Why? Because God gives space for repentance. And yet you would deny that same mercy to your debtor. You would have his hands cut off, his tongue decayed, his children's future ruined, all so that your money may be restored and your anger satisfied. What has become of the command to do unto others as you would have them do unto you? If you had cheated someone, would you want God to afflict your body and your family until death, or would you hope for time to amend your ways and make restitution?

You demand that God prove His power by punishing this man immediately. But He shows His power more in winning souls through patience. The wicked may prosper for a season, but their end is destruction if they do not repent. Your part is not to dictate how God should judge, but to guard your own heart from the poison of hate. This rage is eating away your peace more than any financial loss. You cannot sleep, your family is in turmoil, and your faith is crumbling because you insist that God must act according to your timeline and in the manner you prescribe. Do not exalt yourself as one who has no need of mercy while you heap fury on another. "Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall."

Pray instead for the man who has wronged you. Not with pretended piety but from a heart that has first received God's forbearance. Ask that his conscience be awakened, that he may fear God and return what is owed. Ask that God give you patience and freedom from this gnawing resentment. The prayer of the brethren can do great things, but it must be offered in faith and humility, not in demands for blood. If you will truly forgive from the heart, then you may approach God with confidence not only for this trouble but for the jobs and marriages you seek. Until then, your own hands are bound by the very chains you would throw around another.

Do not despair as if God were dead or a stone in a well. He sees every fraud, every lie, every sigh of the oppressed. But His watchfulness is not idle; it waits for the right moment. Leave the timing to Him. Seek first to be reconciled in your own spirit, and then work diligently, pray without ceasing, and trust that He who provides for the birds will supply your needs. Let your righteousness exceed that of those who only do good to friends, by praying for your enemy and wishing no evil upon him. This is the narrow and royal road. Walk in it, and you will see that God is both just and faithful.

You have poured out your heart with raw honesty, and that anguish is understood. You are facing a severe trial, and the weight of waiting while a person acts wickedly has pressed you to a breaking point. It is clear you feel God has been silent, that justice is delayed so long it feels like a lie, and that perhaps the wicked prosper while the honest are forgotten. These feelings are not hidden from the Lord, who sees every tear and hears every cry.

But here is where truth must steady you. You are looking at the outward circumstances and demanding a specific, immediate punishment to prove God is alive and just. Yet faith is precisely the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith does not demand to see the fire fall on the cheater today to believe God is righteous. It trusts in His character even when the wicked seem to flourish and the righteous suffer. The Scripture you recalled about God destroying the wicked is true, but the timing is His alone. A day is as a thousand years to Him, not because He is slow or powerless, but because His perspective is eternal and His purposes stretch beyond the immediate relief we crave.

Do not let this trial twist your understanding of God’s nature. You asked if God is dead, a stone, or powerless. Those are the cries of a deeply wounded soul, but they are not truth. God’s power is most often demonstrated not in instant retribution, but in sustaining you through the fire. The great heroes of faith that Scripture records did not all receive immediate deliverance. Some subdued kingdoms and shut the mouths of lions; others, possessing the same genuine faith, were tortured, mocked, and imprisoned, not accepting deliverance because they looked for a better resurrection. Their faith was not in vain. The testing of your faith is meant to produce endurance, not despair. When we cannot trace God’s hand, we must trust His heart, as revealed on the cross of Jesus Christ.

Consider this: the demand for detailed curses on the man, his wife, and even their children is not a prayer born of faith but of deep hurt and a desire for personal vengeance. The faith that God accounts as righteousness is the faith that trusts Jesus Christ for our own justification and then leaves room for His wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Your call for his hands to be paralyzed and his children’s education ruined reflects a human hope that suffering will force repentance. Yet God’s kindness is what leads to repentance. Do not take upon yourself the role of prescribing the punishment. Turn the matter over to the Judge of all the earth, who does right. He sees the fraud, He hears the lies, and no amount of his prospering now removes the certainty of divine justice. Whether He judges the man through earthly consequences or a final, fearful judgment, it is in God’s hands. Your duty is not to dictate the terms of his ruin but to release him to God so that your own soul can find rest.

Regarding the practical needs of employment and a godly spouse, these are good things to seek, and you are right to ask for them in Jesus’ name. But the breakthrough you most need is not merely a job or the money returned, but a renewed faith that rests not on outcomes but on the goodness of God Himself. It is by faith that we receive the promises, and without faith it is impossible to please Him. Anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. That reward may not always be immediate provision; it may first be a transformed heart that can say, “Though the fig tree does not bud, yet I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.”

Do not let the behavior of a wicked man rob you of your trust in the Lord. The money is a real burden, and you should continue to pray for its return and for the right job opportunities. But as you pray, pray first to be anchored in the righteousness that comes by faith in Christ, not by works. Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. His faith was proven genuine when he was willing to offer Isaac, long before he saw the full picture of God’s provision. Your faith is being proven now. It is not a perfect faith that never wavers, even Elijah, a man of great power, fled to a cave in fear. A man of faith can have lapses of faith, but the Lord is merciful.

Bring the requests for jobs, for a suitable, God-fearing husband, and for the return of the lease money continuously before the Lord. But pair those requests with a surrender: a letting go of the demand to be the one who sees the punishment. Pray for the strength to live by the faith that justifies, knowing that your right standing with God does not depend on the landlord’s repentance but on Christ’s finished work. God’s grace to you is not a debt He owes because of your honesty; it is a gift. And in that grace, find the power to wait without bitterness, trusting that God is neither inactive nor blind, but working all things according to the counsel of His will for those who love Him. Let this trial push you deeper into that trust, which is the only firm ground when all else seems to be sinking sand.
