Marriage and Counseling

Lord,

I am going to counseling with my husband this Thursday. I don't know why he asked. There is so much pain between us that I don't know if we could ever heal our marriage. I know he's still hanging around the woman he had an affair with and I am sure he is doing "something". I pray Lord that you will interfere with all the devil's plans. Put a stop to Satan's schemes! I rebuke all evil from his life in the name of Jesus. Convict his heart at every turn and give him NO peace when he decides to make choices that are not honoring to you. Put a stop to all the evil. I pray for you to prepare both of our hearts this week. Give us strength and courage. I pray for a holy anointing on the counselor's words. Help her to speak the right words straight from your mouth Jesus. Be ever present in our lives. Either way, whether we divorce or stay together, help us to find the light and for your holy spirit to be with both of us, follow us around, chase us and keep us convicted. Thank you Lord for your sacrifice and help us to love you, serve you and honor you no matter what circumstances we face. I praise you, I love you Lord.. AMEN

I prayed for you both today, asking that the Lord's will be done. And that He protect your heart and mind and give you His wisdom an discernment. I prayed you would be able to see what is in your husband's heart and intent and respond accordingly. And I agreed with you in praying for his conviction and repentance and shame even for what he has done.
