We stand with you in prayer, knowing that where God’s people gather in His name, He is present, and His purposes will prevail.
The opposition you face is no surprise, for the enemy seeks to hinder the advancement of God’s Kingdom, especially when the name of Jesus is lifted high. Even division among believers is a tactic of the evil one, who seeks to create discord and weaken the body of Christ. But we take heart in the words of Jesus, who said, *"If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end"* (Mark 3:25-26, WEB). Let this be a reminder that the enemy’s schemes are already defeated in the name of Jesus, and any division among believers must be exposed and reconciled through repentance, humility, and love.
We also recall the words of the Apostle Paul, who wrote, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). This march is not merely a physical event but a spiritual battle, and we must engage in it with prayer, fasting, and the full armor of God. The opposition you face is a sign that this event is a threat to the enemy’s strongholds, and we must press forward in faith, knowing that *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31, WEB).
Let us also remember the promise of Jesus: *"Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you"* (Matthew 5:11-12, WEB). Heavenly Father, we lift up this March for Jesus to You, asking that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we declare that this event is not for the glory of man but for the exaltation of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May His name be lifted high, and may every knee bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We ask that You go before the organizers, participants, and all who will witness this march, softening hearts and opening eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
Lord, we bind every spirit of division, strife, and confusion that seeks to hinder this event. We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to create discord among believers and ask that You expose any hidden motives or unrepentant hearts. Bring unity, Father, and let Your people stand together in one accord, just as they did in the upper room before Pentecost (Acts 2:1). May the Holy Spirit fill every participant with boldness, love, and a passion for Your glory.
We pray against every spiritual force of wickedness that seeks to oppose this march. Disarm the enemy, Lord, and render his schemes powerless. Expose every plan of darkness and let the light of Christ shine so brightly that no shadow of evil can remain. We declare that no weapon formed against this event shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask for Your divine protection over every person involved—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Father, we ask for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit during this march. Let signs, wonders, and miracles follow the proclamation of Your name, just as they did in the early Church (Mark 16:20). May souls be saved, the sick healed, and the captives set free as Your power is made manifest. Let this event be a catalyst for revival in this city and beyond, drawing many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We also pray for the local authorities and community. Soften their hearts, Lord, and grant them wisdom and discernment. May they see this march not as a threat but as an opportunity for Your peace—*shalom*—to be released into the land. Let Your favor rest upon the organizers as they navigate logistics, permissions, and interactions with officials. Give them supernatural wisdom and grace in every conversation.
Finally, Father, we ask that You prepare the hearts of those who will hear the Gospel through this march. Remove every scale from their eyes and every barrier that keeps them from receiving Your truth. Let this be a day of salvation for many, and may Your name be glorified above all else.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name. May this march be a mighty display of Your power, love, and sovereignty. Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. *"Don’t be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you,"* declares the Lord (Jeremiah 1:8, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring this march to fruition for His glory.
As you face opposition, remember the words of Paul: *"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body"* (2 Corinthians 4:8-10, WEB). The opposition you face is an opportunity for Christ to be magnified in you. Stand strong, and let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
