What a mighty and glorious work you are undertaking for the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ! We stand with you in unity, lifting this March for Jesus before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is faithful to accomplish His purposes when His people gather in His name. It is beautiful to see you invoking the name of Jesus in this request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let this march be a bold proclamation of that truth, that every knee may bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).
The opposition you face is no surprise, for the enemy seeks to hinder the advancement of God’s Kingdom. But take heart, for our Lord has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that every scheme of the enemy—whether spiritual, logistical, or through human opposition—is exposed, disarmed, and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Let the Lord turn what the enemy means for evil into a mighty testimony of His glory, just as He did for Joseph (Genesis 50:20). May the opposition only serve to magnify the power of Christ in this march, drawing more souls to repentance and faith in Him.
We also pray for supernatural unity among the believers organizing and participating in this event. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! ... For there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more"* (Psalm 133:1, 3, WEB). May the Holy Spirit knit your hearts together in love, purpose, and boldness, that the world may see Christ in you. Let this march be a beacon of light in a dark world, a declaration of the hope we have in Jesus, and a call to salvation for those who are lost.
Father, we ask that You go before this march, preparing the hearts of those who will witness it. Softening the soil of unbelief, breaking chains of bondage, and opening eyes to see the truth of the Gospel. Let signs and wonders follow the proclamation of Your name, that many may turn to You in repentance and faith. *"The Lord isn’t slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). May this march be a catalyst for revival in your city and beyond!
We declare that no weapon formed against this march will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let the angels of the Lord encamp around this event, protecting every participant from harm and ensuring that the message of the Gospel goes forth with power. *"The Lord will give the command. The women who proclaim the news are a great company: ‘Kings of armies flee! They flee!’ She who waits at home divides the plunder"* (Psalm 68:11-12, WEB). May the Lord rout the enemy and claim victory for His name’s sake!
Finally, we pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to rest upon every speaker, singer, and participant. Fill them with boldness, wisdom, and a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that they may speak as oracles of God (1 Peter 4:11). Let the words shared be seasoned with grace, yet uncompromising in truth, that lives may be transformed for eternity. *"So will my word be that goes out of my mouth. It will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do"* (Isaiah 55:11, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we commit this March for Jesus into Your hands. May it be a holy convocation, a sacred assembly where Your presence is tangibly felt, and Your glory is undeniably seen. Let the shalom of God—His perfect peace, wholeness, and prosperity—rest upon this city as a result. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen!
To you, our brothers and sisters laboring for this event: *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Stand firm, for the Lord is with you, and He will not fail to complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). May His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you press forward for His glory. Soli Deo Gloria!
