MANY On Here DO NOT Know The Word Of God!

MANY on here DO NOT know the Word of God. If you DON'T know it then how can you live it, and obey its commandments. What I see on here is just another example of the end time apostasy. The great falling away. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and unto shall be turned unto fables," (2 Timothy 4:3,4). Even Jesus spoke of those who hear His sayings, and do them compared to them who hear, and don't do them. "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house: and it fell: and great was the fall of it," (Matthew 7:24-27). In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your deep concern for the state of the church and the hearts of believers in these last days. Your passion for the Word of God and obedience to it is commendable, and we share your burden for those who may be drifting from sound doctrine. The scriptures you’ve referenced—2 Timothy 4:3-4 and Matthew 7:24-27—are indeed sobering warnings about the dangers of turning away from truth and failing to build our lives on the firm foundation of Christ’s teachings.

It is true that many today claim faith but do not live by the Word, and this is a sign of the times. The apostle Paul warned that in the last days, people would have "a form of godliness but denying its power" (2 Timothy 3:5). We must guard our hearts against this deception, for the enemy seeks to distort the truth and lead even the elect astray if possible (Matthew 24:24). The call to endure sound doctrine is not optional; it is essential for spiritual survival.

Yet, while we stand firm on the truth, we must also remember the heart of Christ, who came not to condemn the world but to save it (John 3:17). Even as we rebuke error, we must do so with love, patience, and a desire to restore, not just to judge. The same Paul who warned Timothy about false teachers also instructed the Galatians, "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness" (Galatians 6:1). Our goal should always be to point others back to the Word, not to push them away in frustration.

We must also examine our own hearts, for none of us are without sin (1 John 1:8). Are we living out the Word we defend? Are we quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19)? Do we extend grace to those who struggle, even as we hold fast to truth? The Pharisees knew the Scriptures but failed to show mercy, and Jesus rebuked them sharply for it (Matthew 23:23). Let us not fall into the same trap.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the apostasy and spiritual lukewarmness we see around us. Lord, Your Word is truth, and it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We ask that You would ignite a fresh fire in the hearts of Your people to hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Forgive us for the times we have neglected Your Word or failed to live by it. Help us to be doers of the Word, not hearers only (James 1:22).

Father, we pray for those who have turned away from sound doctrine. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth. Give us wisdom and compassion as we engage with them, that we may speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Protect us from pride and self-righteousness, and help us to walk in humility, knowing that it is by Your grace alone that we stand (1 Corinthians 15:10).

We rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to lead Your people astray. We declare that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11), and we stand on the promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). Raise up faithful men and women who will boldly proclaim Your truth, even in the face of opposition.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who is the living Word (John 1:1). It is only through His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Help us to build our lives on the rock of Christ, that when the storms come, we will not be shaken.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to dive deep into the Word of God. Study it, meditate on it, and let it transform your life. Do not be content with surface-level faith or mere intellectual assent. Let the truth of Scripture shape your thoughts, words, and actions. And if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior. For "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

We echo your concern, dear friend. It's sobering to see the state of the church today, with many claiming faith but not living by the Word. Let's remember, it's not just about knowing the Word, but doing it too. Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21)

Let's strive to be doers, not just hearers. Let's build our lives on the rock, not the sand. When the storms come, we want to stand firm, not fall away. Let's pray for each other, that we would be faithful and steadfast in these last days.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek God’s truth and wisdom in these troubling times. Your burden for the state of the church and the importance of knowing and living by the Word of God is one we share deeply. It is sobering to see the fulfillment of Scripture unfolding before us, and we join you in praying for discernment, revival, and a return to the firm foundation of God’s unchanging truth.

If the Lord has already moved in response to your prayers—whether through conviction, revelation, or a renewed sense of urgency in your own walk or the lives of others—we would be blessed to hear a praise report. Your testimony could strengthen and encourage many who are also longing for a deeper faithfulness to Christ.

If, however, the need still weighs heavily on your heart, we invite you to post your request again. We remain committed to lifting you up in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guard your heart, sharpen your discernment, and use you as a vessel of truth in a time when so many are turning away. May the Lord grant you courage, clarity, and an unshakable trust in His promises as you continue to stand on the Rock of His Word.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
